Always love eating at this Asian Box--so many healthy options on the menu and there's lots of clean seating. My go-to is the workout. The five spice chicken is always consistently tasty!
I ordered food for delivery on June 21 to the hotel near the airport I was staying at. The total bill came to $102.66. After the order was delivered and we opened the bag, we discovered that the three orders of cookies ($3.39 x3) were missing. We immediately called the restaurant and were told a refund would be made. Two days later the refund hadn't happened so I called and explained again the situation. I was told the owner would call me back that day. That never happened. Over the next several days I sent two messages via the website's contact page which says "we’ll get back to you as soon as possible" and "Looking forward to hearing from you.." Nine days later I have yet to receive an answer. So if this restaurant forgets to put any items in your delivery, just know that they'll keep your money and ignore any requests for getting your money back for food you never received.
Ordered online for 8:50 pickup an hour prior to arrival. Phoned to make sure of business hours and recording said open until 9pm. Arrived at 8:45 and the door was locked and finally someone came to the door and said we closed at 8:30 today. Explained we had confirmation via email, order #, and $48.48 was pending in our bank statement. The reply was that he never got the order. We received no phone call or email to let us know our order wouldn’t be made. Never apologized and reluctantly scribbled a phone # on a piece of paper and said call tomorrow. So, maybe it’s delicious food that deserves 5 star rating but I’ll never know because we are only in the area for a day.
Ordered from here on my mom's birthday since she was in a nearby hotel. They forgot to put $10 worth of a cookies in the bag and we called to let them know. They said someone would call the next day to refund us, then gave us the runaround and also claimed they didn't have the order record. Also, the food was disappointing.
Food quality, portion size and service are okay.I did not know there is *** a surcharge of 3% *** is added to my bill until I got the print out receipt. :( The restaurant has a responsibility to tell us about this surcharge before customers place any orders.
I've only discovered this place recently. And it's been my go-to lunch spot for a quick bite ever since. I usually take the garden box. It's the best for vegetarians. You can also make your own box . Service is quick. Place is neat. I'll definitely recommend??
Food was OK. I ordered the ox box. Pickled cucumbers and carrots tasted funky. Beef was very salty in a bad way. The cashier was not very happy to work there for some reasons. I’ll probably skip this and go somewhere else next time. Not that there’s a lot of options in this plaza..
Food is great but the service is horrible. This could be few of the staff only, but they missed items in my pick up and then I went back to get it , they just were unconcerned about it ... just handed me the item with no apology or a nice word for that matter , RUDE
I have been to the San Jose Asian Box twice now & each time, it’s frustrating. Their oven is always broken! As a result, the banh-mi has never been available. The cookies are also not there consistently. Additionally, the staff seem super new & ignorant. This evening I inquired about the loyalty program (which is advertised in the store) & they were clueless. It’s disappointing as this is one of the few places we can rely on for a nice gluten free meal.
