The most unprofessional staaf I have ever seen. Not sure with who they got me confused but the manager came and started blaming me for not paying for food on my last trip without even confirming whether it was me or not and had no proof whatsoever.Owner needs to train them better as they don’t know how to talk with their customers.I wish I could give them zero star for their behavior.
The manager here is super rude. Kya akkad hai baba! Given the mediocrity of service and ordinary taste of food, the staff esp the manager have quite some attitude. I call him with inquiries regarding a party catering order. Five minutes into the call and he's nagging that 'you're taking too much of my time, I have other customers here'. I don't know what happened post pandemic, whether they replaced their staff or something but the earlier folks were really nice. I'd much rather go to Namaste at Los Gatos where they serve the most delicious food and their staff is super courteous.
Google shows the place closes at 9:30, i tried calling but no1 picked up and we reached there by 9 and waited by the door. One guy took us in to seat us and almost when we were at our table, another guy came by and told us that they close at 9:15. We politely told him it’s 9:08 and there’s still time so it would be great if he can accommodate us, he goes “no no no, you have to go! We will not serve you” I was really surprised at the way he spoke to us, the friend I was with is pregnant and I felt bad for her too. We silently left since we didn’t want to deal with his rudeness. (For the record, me and my friends have been here before and we know for a fact that they close at 9:30)
Obsessed with this place... Been there a couple of times recently and each time was a treat. Admittedly a novice for all the Indian dishes but pictures on the wall and friendly staff (and other patrons) helped decide what to order - no regrets.. so delicious... Give it a try!
Do not order from here! The food is extremely spicy even if you ask for mild. We ended up returning the food and getting new food but they just gave us more of same premade food. We put so much yogurt into the food and we still couldn't eat it and our kids said their stomach was still burning. We have ordered here in the past and had no issues but seems like something has changed and we will never order from here again. These type of old-school business owners just don't understand how to serve their different types of customers and it's just sad to see that they have not evolved and adapted. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.
Best Indian food in the evergreen area. Love their thali and pulka. Everything I go they are too busy to make tamarind rice. I will keep asking for it, let see if they can fulfill my request.
I like this Indian restaurant specially because there are few Indian places that serve both North Indian as well as South Indian. So I ordered dosas as well as Goat Biryani. Both were good , the chutney with the dosas were great.
Very dirty. Taste of cockroach smell and had to throw away. Food is old may be left over from other day. Their front desk person speaks not well, needs improvement in speaking skill. Will not eat even if free food from here.
Good Indian Restaurant. Fairly decent food. However, some of the items like Parantha and Poori could be less oily. Btw, Parantha with Dahi & Achār is a standard combination in India, but not available in the menu.
I am happily rating this restaurant 5 stars because the food is really good , we ordered the lamb briyani , sambar vada , dosa and idlis. They are amazing, the only downside is the Chettinad chicken gravy is sweet , we wanted it super spicy , unfortunately it doesn’t taste good. Otherwise all is good.
