Love the Vietnamese house special flat rice noodle special, nice , knowledgeable, professional, clean customer service

We opted for a Tay ho Banh Cuon set (classic rice crapes, pork and mushroom rolls, ground shrimp rolls, Vietnamese ham, and shrimp & sweet potato fritter), and a lychee lemonade!I really liked the texture of the rice rolls & I loved the variety they put in one box. Also, the fritter was good & the fish sauce was not overpowering too. As for the drink, lychee lemonade was tasty as well, some might think it's a tad too sweet, which I also agree. But I actually enjoyed the lychee in the drink. So refreshing!Downside? Just one thing I think that can be improved, I do wish they could give more filling inside the rice rolls. Some bites were all rice roll, and no filling. Other than that, everything was great! Service was fast and friendly. Some may think it's over packaging, but I thought it's pretty cute. We took the food to a picnic and I felt fancy eating that hahaAll in all, worth trying. They are just perfect for the Socal hot days!

Good food packaged nicely. Will be back for more. Price is decent

This legendary Orange County Vietnamese restaurant has opened its take out branch in San Gabriel. We have been trying to get to this place and we finally had a chance to do so today.I was told that this location is the brainchild of the grand daughter of the original Westminster owner trying a new concept of takeout only fast food joint. For the people who love Tay Ho’s food and don’t want to wait, this type of takeout restaurant would be perfect for them. Just order online and then pick up from the restaurant. The menu is a slimed down version of the original full service restaurant. But all my favorite Vietnamese dishes are on the menu and it’s now listed as sets. This design make the ordering process simple and easy. No complicated decision is needed.I always order the Banh Cuon ( rice noodle roll) with mice droppings pork and mushrooms along with fried egg roll and Vietnamese bolognese. This location also offers many fruit drinks and Vietnamese desserts. I tried the Strawberry Peach drink today and it was delicious. I do recommend red bean and green bean desserts.I believe this branch out of the takeout fast food chain will do well as people are busy nowadays. It’s ideal for the people who work at home and can’t afford to be away too long.

Very good,good service and delicious????

Ever since Banh Cuon Tay Ho unexpectedly closed it's doors a few years, there's been a hole that couldn't be replaced by the Banh Cuon from local Pho Ga places or the horrendous dish from Banh Mi Che Cali. This Tay Ho (relation to the previously stated restaurant is unknown to me) is a fast casual style restaurant that presents a more modern take. The Banh Cuon is not as silky as the dedicated sit down restaurants, but has a nice bounce and chew. The side of fried yams lacks a stronger shrimp flavor. One can forget that this restaurant is setup for turning higher volume and speed, so achieving the quality and flavor that they hit is an achievement. Some people are turned off by the price, but that price is applied to the convenience and overall presentation that Tay Ho has switched to. I for one am glad they opened and will be returning.

Food was good. Garlic noodles were a bit salty. I do wish the food came hot/warm. Everything was more on the cooler side other than the garlic noodles. I did enjoy the Vietnamese coffee, definitely try that.

I like the food but wish I knew they were take out only. Packed my family in the car for a dine out but ended taking the food home to eat. I was disappointed we couldn't dine out but the food was is as I expected. Yummy.

Attended the grand opening of Tay Ho! Rice crepe sheets is one of their specialities and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The packaging is nice and the staff is friendly to make sure everything from ordering to preparing is spot on!

It is not banh cuon tây hồ. Employees seem no clue when I order food. I spoke both English and Vietnamese they still made my order wrong. I wish they name their bánh cuốn something else instead of Tây Hồ.
