2nd time here. The 1st time seemed better during Covid time. This time, I felt the food was subpar. The meat didn’t seem like it was marinated long enough. The potato salad was missing that sweet taste that is normally served. The octopus was bland. Service was good.
This korean bbq place is great. What I really liked is their banchan buffet which also had a dessert like sesame seed buchi or fried sesame balls with red bean inside. I can get as much pickled radish, japchae, kimchi, macaroni salad etc. I am most happy with the braised beef ribs included in the bar which is so tender and flavorful. They also have some sauces and the korean bean paste which i dont see a lot in other kbbq places.Their staff are so attentive that even before you are seated, your table is ready with a salad bowl, some banchans and plates. Their meats are delicious and they also have seafood which you can tell are fresh. The only thing is that I've tasted better kimchis in other korean places. Also I am still missing thr veggies like lettuce leaves which i can use to wrap the meats with.A reminder though to be careful with the banchan bar. The unlimited banchan can make you really full easily. We weren't able to taste some of the other meats they offer even if it's a smorgasbord restaurant because we got so full so fast.Price is very reasonable per person compared to other kbbq places with limited banchans and meats.
Didn't even tell us that there are more side dishes for self serving. The quality of meat is not that fresh. That is why they have marinated meat more.
OOF YUM!!!! I have nothing bad to say about this place. There food is AMAZING ! Grest quality meat and super friendly staff. The restaurant was full and we were seated immediately. The host was super sweet and helpful. Pls try the mango Soju
The place is an all you can eat Korean bbq and it's fantastic!!! The place also has a fixings bar with great sides, their beef is very very good, the service was excellent. The company has another location in Los Angeles which also is very good it's just not as good as this San Gabriel location. Not even close.
Their food was excellent but the customer service was bad. And we only had two hours limited of eating, we had to wait for the worker to come up to us and sometimes forgot our orders. On the other hand, I love the mini buffet where you can just get up and grab more side food. Yummy!
What a great spot for your Korean BBQ cravings. Food tastes amazing and fresh staff were alll friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back when we visit L.A again.
Be sure to reserve your spot before you go. Lines can get long! Good customer service and the food was pretty decent too!
First time here! The staff was very attentive to our orders and they came out quick! Nice cuts of meat and I really enjoyed their help yourself bar... Lots of great choices! It was wet everywhere and it wasn't very clean. Other than that, it was a good experience!
Amazing food here. The meats were really good, they had all the sides available and is readily available. Expect a long wait, but trust me it's worth it. The longer the wait obviously it's going to be amazing.
