It a nice hot pot place. A bit expensive but it worth going to try it out. The food is great and so it the service too.
Fantastic experience for a group new to hot potting. Clear explanations, lots of attention to ensure everything was going well and fresh ingredients. Thanks for a great dinner!
Was looking for a hotpot that stays open late near DTLA and this place really surprised me. The spicy broth was full of flavor. Prices were reasonable not cheap not expensive. Fully satisfied will be back again. Only thing I will say …It states they closes at Midnight but last call was at 11 so just put closes at 11.
Super delicious hot pot, Mongolian bbq meat thin cuts served raw. You pick your soup flavor and spicy level and the pot gets heated to boil right on your table like Korean bbq style. Then you dunk your meats into the boiling pot and let it cook for a few minutes and pull them out of the pot and eat. Lots of meats, veggies, and noodles to pick from. Super duper flavorful soup.I would give this place 5 stars, but the outdoor patio is for smokers. So if you want to eat outside to the fresh air, think again. The restaurant allows their customers to smoke cigarettes while you eat. Which killed my vibe. But if you’re a smoker, more power to you.
Good food. The soup stock is delicious, flavors are well-balanced, just be careful of the heat level, the hot side is fire. Meat portion is good for the price and so are the vegetables.
Love the herbal soup. Hot pot style eating. Can get pricey as each item is ordered a la carte but well worth it
If I could leave 0 stars I would. We got turned away because we showed up around 10:50pm when they close at 12am. They claimed kitchen closes at 11pm which is a lie because I have ate at this time before. I drove 40 minutes to be turned away.
Liked it, but I dont know why they charged me so much for cooking my own food. Like if it's going to be pricy, they should cook it for me???
I was tired and didn't want to cook dinner, so I visited Monland Hot Pot City for a take-out dinner. I pointed out 3 items on their menu. The staff charged me over $20 for the items and then placed the 3 raw, uncooked items into a plastic bag for me: raw meat, spinach, and a bowl full of spices.Upon further inquiry, the staff told me I would have to take these raw ingredients home to cook them myself. So, it was basically like going to an overpriced grocery store--except worse. . . . I will never go to Monland Hot Pot City again and I recommend nobody else go there, either.
