For someone who has very low spice tolerance that still loves szechuan, this was the perfect restaurant for me. The fact they they offer different spice levels enhanced my whole whole experience.I ordered house beef noodles spice level 1, steamed veggies, chili oil chaoshou and fries - all hit the spot and left very full (brought some take homes)Definitely will want to go back here whenever I'm around the area.
Always happy to be pleasantly surprised. I avoided this place because their noodles use to be very salty, but tried it recently and definitely gotten better. Always order the steam egg
We went for lunch on a Sunday and it was just great! Service was totally fine, portions were big and prices were fine too (cheaper compared to WeHo). We ordered hot & sour chaoshou, chili oil chaoshou, spicy beef noodles, hot & sour glass noodles and Chengdu Zajiang Noodles. We will definitely come back!!
My wife's favorite szechuan restaurant. We came 4 years ago and we loved it then. We found it and went today and it was still delicious and just the right spiciness.
Casual setting, lots of space. Good flavor. Service a little slow but would easily visit again.
Noodles were ON POINT the flavouring, toppings, etc were all tasty. But the texture, the pull, and the chewiness of their noodles were verryyyyy satisfying. I can see why they're on the Michelin Guide... I tried their side dishes as well, but my favourite was the pork dumplings. If you don't like chewy dumpling skins then maybe not for you, but I quite like a good thick skin before enjoying the pork juice inside :)10/10
Menu 4/5Taste 4/5Customer service 4/5Cleaniness 4/5Price 5/5Pretty solid Sichuan place. The noodles are pretty good and have rich full of Sichuan peppers. My favorite there is the pork dumplings. The sauce they use for them are exquisite.
I understand everything is getting expensive now, but you only gave me half of bowl of the noodle. I miss the old Mian. Only 2/3 noodles than before
Really good spot for great noodles and spicy dumplings. There are indoor and outdoor seating for everyone. I would definitely suggest the black fungus side dish with any of your Noodle dishes to compliment the flavors. There are different spice levels so pick whichever you can handle. A safe bet is to get level 3 for a flavorful kick without being too overwhelmed. Service is super quick and courteous. Wait picks up during lunch and dinner rush so I suggest swinging by off times to enjoy without the lines.
Love this place. Fresh ingredients, and made dumplings, amazing sauce flavors.
