Excellent dumplings. The Shanghai xiaolongbao is a pork and crab type, so the taste is a little different. I did like it.What stands out is the delicate dumpling skin. So far, this is the best dumpling skin I've had in the country. It's so delicate I tore a few picking them up- outstanding. The huge dumpling is more of a novelty. It's hard to eat without dumping the soup- but you'll have to try it once anyways. The spicy fish in the red soupy sauce was great too, proper spicy. The beef wrap 'thing' and the tofu dish with edamame beans was also good. I don't know the names of all the dishes, but they have pictures which is great. My grandmother grew up in Shanghai and did all the ordering when she was still around, I'm glad I can still find some of these dishes in town.

Their crab and pork xlb might beat DTF! Big statement but it’s so good and you can see them make it fresh! Service is not the best but the food is an absolute hit! Wuxi spare ribs are good but sweet! Xlb is awesome! Hot and sour is real good too. Sichuan fish is not the best here and the spicy beef vermicelli noodle soup has so much mala. Focus on dumplings and shrimp fried rice and hot and sour soup!

This is basically a Din Tai Fung at a lower price. They have everything and more of what DTF has. I first saw this restaurant on Mike Chan’s YouTube channel where he raves about the huge XLB at this place. He said that you have to come to try this out. So my wife and I visited this place today ( 5/19/2022).Mike Chan was right, the xiao long Bao at this restaurant is just as good as DTF. The way I can tell is that the skin on the XLB tasted exactly the same as DTF’s. They also have potstickers and scallion pancakes. But the famous item is their huge Xiao Long Bao. It’s about 9 inches big filled with crab meats and crab eggs. It’s then steamed in a bamboo steamer to create juicy fillings. You suppose to drink the soup inside the giant XLB first with a boba straw. Then you can eat the skins with the crab meat. So delicious. This is a must order when visit this restaurant. When I said everything are just as good as DTF, the only exception is the sweet and sour ribs. The texture is about the same but the sauce is not the same at level of taste. It’s not as flavorful. I believe the cooking process has not attained that culinary level yet. The vinegar level was missing on the ribs. However, the onion pancakes were excellent with the thin and crispy skins. The regular XLB was fantastic too. I can’t tell the difference between these XLB and DTF’s.The prices here are very reasonable. For instance, their XLB costs about 30% less than DTF, although the decoration of this place needs renovations. They used to have bad services here but now it seemed to be very good, fast and attentive.

This is my go to spot for Xiao Long Bao in the SGV - and I've been to the usual suspects in the area like Mama Lu's and Din Tai Fung. It's an unassuming restaurant located on the 2nd floor of a busy strip mall. The interior is roomy with plenty of seating. In the corner, there is an window where you can see sweet old Asian ladies making Xiao Long Bao. Service is ok. But let's face it, you're not here for the service. You're here for those juicy, soupy dumplings known as Xiao Long Baos. I always get the Pork & Shrimp XLB and the Crab & Pork XLB. Oooh and the Pork & Crab Bun. Slurping the juice and theCrab from a large straw is my favorite part. It does seem weird at first, but once you taste it, you'llnever go back. If Jonathan Gold, the famous LA food critic, loves these pillows of goodness, then you know you will too. If you want good authentic Xiao Long Baos without the wait of Din Tai Fung, then go here.

Had a blast eating here. Have eaten good Asian food elsewhere too but this was amazing! We ordered a lot of food between 2 people but we finished it, ha!Clean and nice place. We didn’t have to wait too long for the table. There were people in and out.Quick service! Good food! What else can one ask for!

My hometown food!! Will definitely go there again!! Love Taro soup which my grandma used to make it for me, and juicy dumpling is so delicious!!!

Dumplings are great! My favorite were the sautéed bean seedlings.

Note that the English signage at this location reads ‘#1 juicy dumplings’ and the location is on the second floor of the plaza. While the other dishes might be tempting stick to the dumplings - that’s where this restaurant really shines. Our favorites were the giant pork and crab soup dumpling and the pork and shrimp soup dumpling (normal sized). The soup was flavorful, the meat was well seasoned and the flavors played well with each other. There was even an entire shrimp at the bottom of the pork and shrimp dumpling which made it feel luxurious.

Really delicious food. Definitely recommend the pork and shrimp dumplings. Waiter was good and friendly. Coming back soon.

Didn’t know I will need to wait 1 hour in noon even weekdays. I think food is good but the waiter who is packing the to-go food throw our plate on the table.
