This used to be one of the best places for pho!Now it’s lost it allure and flavors. We ordered to go: 2 large pho, a bun and extra noodles. We barely got any chicke, and the noodles were all broken and seemed dry.I hope they can fix recent experiences as I’m willing to give them another chance. ?
The egg rolls 10/10Arrive early. Super long wait but can be added to a digital list that automatically updated you on your position in line. The pho was flavorful. Portions on everything was great. Satisfied and stuffed leaving.Parking lot is tight so limited parking.
The BEST beef pho in town. We've been coming here for over 15 years. We moved even further away and it's still worth the traffic and the 40 minute wait to be seated. The fried egg rolls are amazing. And gluten free!! ?
Friends brought me here for the first time, based on raving reviews. But it turned out be a great disappointment. Nothing really special about this joint. The foods were mediocre at best. I've had much better Vietnamese foods elsewhere. The food quality is mediocre as well. The ambient was not pleasant and a bit chaotic. Our server (fat male) was not efficient and not pleasant. And worst of all, the price! It's a rip off here! Way overpriced for what they offer. Not coming back here!
My all time favorite Vietnamese restaurant (in the world). This restaurant is so popular and delicious and consistent. I would say the owners have it down to an art form. My favorite is to ask for cafe sua at the end of the meal(depending on what time of day it is).
I have recurring dreams about these rolls. The pho, not so much, bit too sweet - but we still cleaned our bowls after the near two-hour wait. Great tendons.
Excerpt from Eat the World Los Angeles:For as long as you have been eating at restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley, there has been a crowd out front of Golden Deli waiting to be seated. There is obviously a good reason for this: as fads come and go and the masses move on, Golden Deli was never a fad to begin with and most of their customers come from relatively nearby. And they come often.
Just ok. The egg rolls were definitely crispy, but the filling tasted like a lot of noodle. I also ordered the dry style hu tieu which was meh. It oddly had tons of baby romaine lettuce, and the sauce was bland - kinda like a sweet soy sauce. Hubby enjoyed his bun bo hue and soda xi muoi. My cherimoya smoothie was good too.
I was highly impressed with the vietnamese food here! The meat quality is superb for pho and the bun rieu oc is really good as well. Usually bun rieu oc doesn't come with extra dipping sauce so when it came with it here, it made it all the more special. Very authentic with the herbs and everything. The restaurant is always packed so make sure you have time to wait if necessary! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.
Very good pho, I ordered the pho tai. The broth was so good, and the spring rolls were huge and delicious!
