They ran out of a lot of dishes that were on the menu. The experience was lovely though and I would recommend big groups and family to come along. My only thing is for them to always have what they got to be able to serve it if they know it's the most requested items.
The Deep Fried Seafood & Fresh Fruit Rolls as shown on the photo below they brought it to the table was inviting with fresh smell of deep fried until I have the first bite to the fish filet inside was smell rotten, I asked the waiter to smell it he said he didn't smell rotten, I told him bring to the chef and have him try it first before you serve to us.
My wife and I live in San Diego but have good friends who live in Chinatown - LA. The Five Star Seafood Restaurant in San Gabriele is always included in the schedule for their great food - personally love the just right sauce & seasoned chicken feet. My wife really loves their Sui mai, - actually haven't tried anything that wasn't great. This past New Years weekend our friends visited us and what a special treat - loads of carry-out from the Five Star... foodwise and all ways, it was a great weekend. Complements to the Chief!
DONT EAT HERE - IF YOU DO, CHECK YOUR FOODThe food is great, but the employees are horrible. We order from here and eat out here all the time and there’s always a problem with the employees. Whether they say their closed for dim sum at 1:30, take others orders before yours even though you’re clearly next in line, don’t acknowledge you at all, or are just plain rude whenever they do actually acknowledge you. Two separate times we have ordered takeout from there and placed our order over the phone and everything was fine. Only to get a call back 15 minutes later saying they no longer have part of our order. They literally gave away our order… how unprofessional can you get?? These people are a joke. Not to mention unsanitary and having a roach infestation. I’ve also found hair in my cold food 4 times! SO DISGUSTING.

I always arrive at 9am. The customer service is amazing. They show me my table for 3. The restaurant is clean and service is fast and have different items to try. Food is great and fresh.
Had Dim Sum after a very long time. All dishes we tried were good including the Chinese Broccoli bowl. Tried Chickens feet for the first time. Really soft! They have fresh fish and lobster in the display. Very big restaurant and was nearly full.
We went to eat Cantonese dim sum here. The food is good. We waited for a long time. A dim sum cart was pushed over. I asked her If you had chicken feet ? Her service attitude is too bad. We are very unhappy. We will never go back to eat.
The food is so good here. My favorites are the shaomai and the bbq pork buns but the sesame balls were great too
Came here twice with fam. The food is very tasty. The only complaint I have is I wish the servers were more attentive….they were all just sleeping in the back. When we arrived there was barely anyone and still took them forever to come take our order.
