Have you ever been to a restaurant and your first bite of the food reminds you of your happy childhood? Embassy Kitchen’s food invoked pleasant memories of my early years. Yummy food with local canton specialty is what this restaurant offers.Their dim sums are very unique with every dish done well. Their flavor adheres to authentic local Cantonese cooking. Like the turnip cake, the chunky turnips elevates the flavor of this dim sum to reflect the original taste from Canton. This is how I remember the taste of this dish when I was a child.I particularly enjoyed the pan fried flat rice noodle with Chinese sausage and broccoli. Not too many restaurants cook this dish with these ingredients nowadays. But I prefer to have the sweet onion instead of the Chinese broccoli with this dish. The prices are still reasonable. At around $4 a dish, it’s less than most dim sum places in the SGV. In addition to dim sum, Embassy Kitchen offers lunch special dishes with rice starting at $10.99 during lunch time. Dim sum starts at 8 am in the morning. So for people who want to have dim sum for breakfast to start the day, this is your place.Service is excellent here. Even though they only have about 3 waiters, they are very attentive and visit each table very frequently. There is a big parking lot that shares the parking spots with Tasty Choice restaurant next door.
Food tasted good, average portion, and not overly oily.
Very good authentic Hong Kong Style Dim Sum. Hope they can open a little bit early like by 8am. In Asia, you can have Dim Sum by 6AM. By 9am you probably have brunch! Lol!
Not my favorite Chinese restaurant. Food was underwhelming and rather on the expensive side. I don't mind expensive if the food wowed me. I want to give this two stars so badly but I just can't. I keep comparing this to Newport Seafood. For Chinese food seafood lovers, I'd recommend Newport Seafood Restaurant in either the OC or SGV.
Gr8 food. We asked for a check at the end, ended up waiting about 20mins for it. We weren't in a hurry but still... besides that, gr8 services.
Great service, they even give away 8 inches free ? too
Good quality food and wonderful service
Had set lunch there, reasonable price and good food.
Great place to enjoy good old fashion home style dishes like grandma use to cook.Chinese beef brisket with radish and pork hash with salted egg are outstanding items from the menu. This is not a restaurant with much atmosphere. It is basically a no frills place with great service. Many of the patrons are 50+ years old and they come here to remember the food they had growing up.
Excellent food, decor shows age
