I have actually had a couple bad experiences at this particular location first of all it has always been understaffed the employees are working nonstop but they don’t ever have enough employees. But today I had the worst experience I ordered two classic chicken burritos and they have no chicken and instead they had a different meat dark meat it was hard not tasty it grossed me out also I ordered a shrimp taco was super disappointed the tortilla was cold not tasty at all. Also I have had three different experiences where during lunch hours the door is closed when its suppose to be business hours very unprofessional!!!!

Went to this El Pollo Loco today at 4pm. The young lady at the cash register said that they were closing for the rest of the day. Well if you are closed please change your online open and closed hours to reflect this. Restaurant was still closed at 5pm and at 7pm but on line reflected still open. Please change this so that people don't waste their time. Gas is to expensive.

Says it closes at 9, but it never seems to be open. Placed an order arrived at 730 and the guy said they're closed. At least the 3rd time this has happened. Must not like money

They close the whole entire store for lunch no one can order no one can buy anything till the whole store comes back from lunch worse pollo loco

Seems to have gone down in quality in the last couple years. The meat was dry. Service was good.

They were only serving burrito at 8:20pm because they claim they were preparing to close in 30 minutes, so my husband ordered. I couldn't get anything I liked because it was inconvenient. This is mt second time coming here. I was giving a second chance since they gave me the wrong order last time.I know this is fast food and your short staffed but I won't return.

It's actually been several months since I was last here and picked up a pollo bowl...(normally I'd ask for sliced avocado)My last interaction with the mgr left me feeling incensed and peeved. I was told with a serious eyeroll and tone that that was something that had never been offered. I assured her that I expected to pay for the additional items... if it wasn't possible to substitute a item for this.? When I was explaining that I became accustomed to having my my pollo bowl with fresh sliced avocado on top. The mgr shot me a look like I was obviously lying and she added a smirk with it. Grrr... I have been back to my preferred location for a pollo bowl and that's the FAIR OAKS location across from Bristol Farms .... my longtime favorite place for pastry treats and just great food. YummySadly or rather frustratedly I opted to leave and head up to the FAIR OAKS location instead.

I made an online order it hit 10:40 ,supposedly it opens at 10:30 the workers inside just looking at me like im crazy. No wonder the reviews are horrible.

Hey Pollo Loco, y’all seriously need to clean your place up in here. It’s really gross, just a word of advice. A little tidying up will go a long way to improve your establishment. Clean under the booths and sweep too, because it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a year. And wipe down your walls, they look like someone threw a soda and you never wiped it down.

IF I COULD GIVE IT 0 STARS I WOULD! Each and every time I've come to this location, the manager D. is extremely rude. She never rings me up and always has someone else do it. Today when I walked in, she rang up the two people ahead of me and then without greeting walked away and told a new person to ring me up. I witness her fill tortilla bags instead of ring other order up. There was only four people in the restaurant. 1 person cooking, 1 person to expedite, 1 new person attempting to help and the manager. At one point, the three associates where filling orders and she was filling up tortilla bags. She had her back to the registers. I noticed that there were 6 people standing in line, waiting to have their orders taken. They had been standing there for almost 10 minutes. I politely got her attention and told her that she had customers. Her response was "Yeah, I know but we are short staff. We already told them to wait." This was not true at all. No one acknowledged the customers. I looked at the people sympathetically and shrug my shoulders. When my order was ready, she didn't even hand it to me, she had the new person do it. The corn tortillas was missing from my order so he went to go get it. She flung my order on the counter and bagged another customer order up. She asked him what I was waiting for, he explained corn tortillas. I heard her tell him we don't have time for that tell her we don't have it. Honestly, she could've just turned around and said it to me. This was horrible customer service and I believe she didn't want to ring me up because of my race. I will never go to this location again. I rather travel the additional 3 miles in order to have better service. Also, they should all be wearing name tags so when some wants to complain they can report the right person.
