Food here is sooooo good. You won’t regret it

One of the best find on my last trip to Los Angelas. Definitely a hidden Gem. It is a small cute restaurant located in Sunny Plaza, San Gabriel. There's several places to go in the plaza, and DX lab definitely stands out. DX Lab features special eats from Chengdu China, very unique, super tasty, surprisingly tasty.I really wanted to try everything on the menu, sometimes I feel like it would be a blessing to have 2 stomach, and this is one of the time. Sweet and spicy handmade thick noodle was so delish, I was amazed. The noodle is long and endless, so fun to eat it. It doesn't have a lot of sauce, but sweet dark sauce was almost marinated into the noodle, so fun to eat and portion was huge. The specialty smoked duck was to die for. We can barely finish it but I just had to take it back to our hotel and fridge it, at night I was snacking it, still juicy, flavor and great!!!DX Lab has a varieties collections of milk tea and other snacks, I didn't have enough space to order them all, so it's gonna be fun missing it and go back.Highly highly recommended. Great food, great price. Bravo.
Just came here for a quick lunch and was so impressed either the quality of the food. I had the cold noodles with shredded chicken and seriously considered sneaking back to the kitchen to ask for the recipe. My bf had the spicy crunchy beef noodles and those were super flavorful. The atmosphere is fun, hip, and casual. A great lunch spot overall and if I'm ever in the neighborhood again I'll probably be stopping by.
The most authentic and delicious ChengDu street food you can find in the west coast
Amazing and authentic Szechuan food spot!!
The bao was very good
Food was pretty good, I came here to try the colored buns, which were OK, their noodles are great though. Our server didn’t speak English, which was fine for me since I speak mandarin, but hard for my friend who doesn’t speak Chinese. Had to wait fir a guy to come out from the back who spoke English.
One of the best restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley for spicy dumplings. So delicious!
I tried dx lab a few weeks ago and this review is only based on the delivery but for delivery it was pretty darn good. We ordered the dinner special with the sweet and spicy thick noodle, special about, pork suimai, Dan Dan #3, strawberry Milky Way tea, the large bao, and the soy powder Chinese mochi. The food was sort of hit or miss- the thick noodles were way too sweet and almost syrupy for us and the mochi was ended up being tossed out completely. The Dan Dan was pretty good as well as the sui mai but they sent 0 sauces of any kind to dip anything in. I’m talking not even soy, hot sauce, nothing. I will say the shining star was the giant bao- that thing really held it’s own. Overall considering how bad delivery things can end up this wasn’t the worst. I’d be willing to give it another try and so should YOU!
