I grew up in Houston where access to great Vietnamese food was plentiful. Since moving to LA, it’s been hard to find. This place is fantastic. Perhaps the greatest shrimp egg roll of all time. Crackling crispy. The herbs were fresh. Lettuce crisp. Dipping sauce the perfect combo of fishy and sweet. The combo of all three was ethereal. The pho broth was deep and luxurious. Noodles were supple and silky. Beef, tender. Top notch pho. Shrimp paste and pork chop over broken rice was simple and perfect. No complaints. Will continue to make the drive out and try and make my way through this entire menu.
Dine-in environment is chaotic, unappealing, unclean, and unpleasant. My friend took me here fore dine-in but I convinced her to go with the takeout option. The food isn't bad, but mostly are very expensive. My friend told me they've jacked up the price while reduced the portion, meaning the value factor has gone down at this restaurant. As to the service, it's a bit weird here. They have staff who don't speak English or speak very little of it. Even for takeout, communication can be a bit of a challenge here. Overall, spend your money elsewhere.

Rice dishes here are good, but your quality and service can vary greatly, example sometimes the soup is good and hot sometimes its cold and meh.
It's a hit or miss restaurant. The first time we ordered and it was good. Yesterday we ordered the same broken rice and pork chop and it was bad. The rice was old and hard, the pork chop was over cooked, it was hard and very dry like eating jerky.

I love the BBQ pork chop with steam egg on rice. Delicious! Service was great!
Ordered to go and everything came out great! Probably one of the better places, or quite possibly the best place, to get Com Tam in the area.We got 2 of the Broken Rice w/ 7 Kinds of Food to share amongst 3 adults and 3 kids and still finished dinner with left overs! The food was great too!Parking was easy! They have a front and back parking lot. Front might be kind of difficult to find parking, but there's plenty in the back.
