One of our favorite place for house special lobster with noodles. No where Else outside LA/OC area that serve this dish. It’s amazing, delicious and will give you foodgasm. You probably go to bed dreaming of the next time you will get to eat this. We got the 5lbs lobster with double noodles and it feed all 6 of us and we didn’t have to order anything else. If you from out of town, YOU HAVE TO ORDER THIS! Our other favorite place for this dish is Newport seafood. We switch between the 2 restaurant.
I’ll be honest based on the food itself, it was pretty good, but the service was horrible they don’t really seat parties on a first come first serve basis. We were a party of 8 who arrived early, much ahead of a party of 12 but since the table that was ready first was a slightly larger table they decided to seat the party of 12 first. They made us wait another 30 minutes and ended up seating (or more like squeezing) us on a table for 6 that couldn’t fit all the food we ordered. We had to fight to be moved to a bigger table once it opened up. So yeah pretty unethical service anyone who’d eat here should go to newport seafood instead, much better service for food that is as good or better.
Full at 7 PM and line waiting for table out the door. Unique selling point is for the lobster and crab. Don't be scared and ask for the $ per pound then specify a reasonable lobster size. Mine is peppery Vietnamese style spice profile. I rate it as the top 5 lobster I've ever had. Free oranges the finish the meal.
We ordered the 4.75 pound Boston lobster dish. It was delicious. It fed our family of 5. I rate it a 10 because I loved the flavor. I gave them a 4 because at first they tried to sell us a 8 pound lobster claiming it was the last one they had. When we said no then mysteriously they found a 4.75. So I did not like the dishonesty so I knocked them 1 point.
Great experience during off peak hours. During the lunch and dinner rush I've seen parking very limited. Lobster was tasty. We had a good server. Walnut shrimp was good. Mongolian beef was good. Warning if you order lobster it's going to be pricey the smallest order is 4 pounds and you pay by the pound. But then again when is lobster not pricey ?
Foods were excellent and very friendly good service but long wait get the table
Food was very tasty. I had the house lobster and crab. They gave each table a pot of hot rice. We got there a little after opening 1135a and the were customers already seated and progressively packed. Custom service was good. I am definitely going back soon.
First time coming here for a friend's BD lunch today. Parking is very crowded. But people do leave so just be patient. The food is very good. Customer service is wonderful. It is very busy but they get the food out very fast. Perfect 100 points for all the dishes. They do take reservation so it's better to reserve a table if you have lots of people in your party. Strongly recommend.
Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - ordered some of the most popular dishes! House special lobster sauce was spot on without being too salty. Unfortunately the noodles underneath were a bit over cooked and almost a bit mushy. The lobster felt over cooked as well since the shell was almost soft rather than us being able to crack it like usual. The basil clam sauce was good but some of the clams weren’t cooked all the way and one oozed green goo when pressed. Also ordered French style beef cube, salt & pepper pork chop, and pea sprouts. The veggies were a bit tough but the rest were greatAmbience: 4/5 - typical asian restaurant with no frills or fancy decoration. When you walk in, there’s a fish tank with lobsters in itService: 4/5 - there is a bit of a language barrier but when someone in the party switched to Cantonese, they were extremely friendly and happy to help. They came around to ask if we need plate changes twiceValue for price: 3/5 - more expensive than other similar Chinese restaurants. We may have gotten in before lobster season really started but it’s quite pricey at $30 per pound
