Went there for dinner on Sunday around 6:30 and it wasn't quite packed as I expected( but there were people waiting when we came out)We ordered a lot of food but I don't know the names since I wasn't the one who ordered. The duck tasted good while the skin was crispy and the meat was tender. I only wish they gave more wrap(or pancakes... whatever it is called)Every food we ordered tasted great it wasn't that salty like some has mentioned. I only was able to take pictures of some food we ordered.I loved-Fried tofu stir fried with some veggiesPeking duckFried shrimp with walnutCold noodle - it reminded me of Korean cold noodleOther dishes were good too but those were I'd order for sure next time.
?? BEIJING, CHINA (via Eat the World Los Angeles) - As plates of Peking duck make their way to every other table, it becomes clear that it would be a mistake not to try that or some of the other specialties from China's capital city region. If you order it, the zha jiang mian ($13.99) will probably come first, with all ingredients served separately in little dishes. Besides the salty, fermented bean paste that gives the dish its name, the thick and wide wheat noodles are joined by an array of items meant to contrast with crunch. There are small pieces of celery, bean sprouts, cucumber, and soybeans, all meant to be picked out from the eventual mix and enjoyed in between bites of the soft, chewy noodles.
I have been eating here from time to time for 2 years. Everything I get is amazing. Personally, the dishes I like the best are: whole fish soup (全鱼泡饼), sizzling beef (炒烤牛肉), mapo tofu(麻婆豆腐), pork stew (红烧肉) and lamb soup (羊蝎子火锅).The food here is so delicious and authentic. It’s called Beijing Tasty House for a reason. If you are originally from Beijing, you’ll definitely love this restaurant and come back again and again. And that’s why this restaurant can stand for a long time not going bankrupt. But be careful though, some dishes are really salty, so I sometimes just order a vegetable dish or order pick-up and add some boiled veggies at home.Overall, the portion is big, the environment is good, the price is reasonable and service is decent.

Exceptional service and food. Reasonable priced. Basic decor. Great place for families to share all dishes. I will definitely come back to try different foods.
Delicious food. Some of the plates are spicy. The duck needs to pre order.
My friends and I grabbed the last duck of the day. WOW! I loved every course that we got, especially the tofu duck soup. Just be sure to have someone who lived in Beijing order. It's in the name, after all.
