Because of covid, prices have gone up quite a lot. Other than that though, their food is top notch. I recommend getting the tofu soup and kimchi fried rice. Its really the best.
Tastey Korean tofu house. Sizzling hot tofu soup with a steamy clay pot of rice makes a perfect meal. Plenty of complimentary condiments available. Be cautious of the spice level. I think it's one level higher then other tofu houses.Parking: More parking in the back if the plaza.
This is a great Korean Tofu House. The food tastes excellent, the staffs are extremely helpful and prompt, and the restaurant is very spacious although it may look small from outside the front door. They get you seated fast despite the crowd. They are very very nice. The resto has two large restrooms..quite clean.
Each person serving us varied their quality of service. First lady dumped the cups on our table. Some were nice to check up on us. The food is ok, but it's kinda expensive from what I'm used to.
We are staying for a week in LA walking distance from this restaurant and have already ordered takeout from here three times in four days. Their mul naengmyun and soontubu soup are sublime, but also excellent are the seafood pajun, the rabokki, and the bibimnaengmyun. The banchan, particularly the kimchee and spicy cucumber, are plentiful and delicious. An outstanding Korean restaurant.
Found another Korean tofu house to satisfy my Korean food craving besides Yong Dong Tofu in San Gabriel. This place is definitely in par with Yong Dong in term of the food varieties. In fact the menu is also exactly the same and the taste and flavors are also very similar.Sundubu-jjigae or soft tofu stew is a jjigae in Korean cuisine. The dish is made with freshly curdled soft tofu, vegetables, sometimes mushrooms, onion, optional seafood, optional meat, and gochujang or gochu garu. The food is healthy. Traditionally Sundubu Jjigae can be made with quite a bit of oil and fat from the ground meat, but this version of Korean Tofu Soup is definitely healthy! This soup is made with just a touch of oil, low-sodium veggie broth, kimchi, (which is fermented and great for your gut health) and tofu. The restaurant also offers tons of side dishes or Ban Chant for free and you can ask for refills. They are delicious. I especially like their kimchis. The prices are not cheap, each combo dish can cost up to $30+ and a single tofu soup would cost you $15. For the same portion, price for lunch is about $5 cheaper for some reason.Park upstairs is a nightmare. Try to park underground parking which has plenty of spaces.I would go back to try other dishes.
Ordered Kimchi Fried Rice. The rice didn't stick to the stone bowl which was nice. The rice did get slightly burnt so you can get texture in your food. Overall it was alright/decent though you might need to eat side dishes in between bites to break up the flavor.
Most of the food was just okay. Extra spicy was actually spicy. Too pricy for the quality of food the sides dishes were not good either. One thing that was nice is they still had the stone pot rice.
Hello everyone. This tofu house is a great Korean food style restaurant. There are plenty of items to choose from, and portions are generous. I recommend the bulgogi + tofu soup ( C2 ) the side dishes are delicious and unlimited. The staff is friendly and helpful for a first time visitors. this place is popular, so get here early before the lunch and dinner rush. There's plenty of parking outside and in the underground parking located at the back of the plaza. Cash and card are accepted at this place. Thank you for reading my review.
