The service is great, ambiance too. I was disappointed with my main course Zingari fettuccine and dessert bread pudding. Portioning was on the small side. I had to get more bread. The bread was great. My friend had the fish which was great. My husband had ravioli which was great. I guess I chose the wrong plate.

Nice the Jazz band, the food is ok but not fabulous. It's worth to go to listen music, it should be a more elegant dress code.

Honestly we wanted a nice date and to order many different things. Unfortunately our server wasn’t very attentive and was flat out rude. We wanted to order a bottle of sparkling and he brought us a glass and then ran off before I could say anything. So honestly I don’t think I want to go back. We ended up ordering just an appetizer because he literally ignored us and made me uncomfortable.

We came to SF on a trip from Los Angeles with a group of friends. This spot seemed like a good choice as it was pretty close to our hotel downtown. As soon as we got to our table we were very confused by the layout and extremely quiet awkwardness of the place. It says it’s a jazz bar but we were on the complete other side and there was zero vibe in there. We asked to be moved but they said nothing was available in the jazz room. The pastas were pretty good but the carpaccio appetizer had no flavor. I really wanted to like this place but I would not recommend it unfortunately.

We had a wonderful experience here, on our first visit to San Francisco from Australia. The jazz trio was outstanding, and the food and service exceptional. We loved the intimate, romantic atmosphere. I was a little surprised/disappointed to find a 20% tip pre-added into the check before I received it. However, I put this down to my being unfamiliar with local customs, and paid it without complaint. It really was a great experience overall.

Went for a show at the Curran Theater. Staff was very attentive to ensuring we were taken care of and our food came out early so we had enough time to make our show. Excellent service and the food was great.

Terrible. Service was awful and food was just ok.. You can tell that they add gratuity in advance. Never got our appetizer and server never checked on us until after our dinner plates were cleared. Worst experience in a restaurant in months. $118 for mushy pasta and a server who did not care at all. Do not go here.

For the last 10+ years when we come to San Francisco we always stay at The Donatello and always eat at Zingari’s on our last night in town. That used to be twice a year. We missed 2021 owing to covid. This year (2022) we’ve been four times. Zingari’s appears to be under new management, but with the old menu (though its possible its been passed-down to the next generation of family). Unfortunately, the quality of the meal - flavors, spices, etc. - has gone down-hill. Service is still excellent and ambiance pleasant; however, in the end we come to a restaurant for the meal. With four visits under our belt we both agreed that we need to find a new restaurant.

Food was amazing, and the service was great. Our server was so nice and attentive and every other employee was super nice as well.
