Bustling brunch spot, but well worth the wait as there is no reservation. The egg benedicts were excellent, especially the smoked salmon one. Pleasantly, the potato and garlic on the side were very crunchy as well. On top of the food quality, I am a fan of their no tip policy — as they've included it in their menu prices . A very strong recommend if you are in the area.

The food at Zazie is average. Nothing over the top, but it is a really trendy local spot for those of us who live nearby. Are there much better spots in SF, ABSOLUTELY! You can expect REALLY long waits for tables, and over an hour wait on any sort of online order. They only accept one online order for any 45 minute period. Prices are high, bc a 25% tip to the server is included, even in your online order where you didn't have a server. You can't do a thing about that. No matter what level of customer service you receive. HERE'S THE KICKER- Mario, one of the owners, is a nightmare. He’s the guy who usually greets you at the entrance and adds your name to the list on his iPad. Many of the reviews here discuss how rude he is and it is ABSOLUTELY THE TRUTH. He acts like he can't be bothered with anyone, he hasn't learned the value in treating all customers with gratitude and graciousness. When that place gets busy, he starts to melt down and treats people like dirt. I have been a local patron for over two decades, and I'll never go back because of this guy. I'm done with his rudeness, and his lack of customer service skills. My family and I went above and beyond to try to support Zazie during the pandemic so they didn’t fold. They were so grateful and kind then, and I wondered if/when that would change. Mario has since answered that question. ? He’s gone back to being curt and ungrateful in demeanor. The food quality, portions, ingredients, and customer service have all gone downhill. Not worth it.

cute, authentic french place. food was great - bourride zazie 10/10 if you like seafood, steak tartare 8/10 had too much cilantro for my liking, salade guillaume 7/10 good but not too special. the restaurant is tip free and pays its employees a living wage ?

This place is proud to say that they don't need the tips for server. It's very surprise for me but the price is pretty high if compare with other place(or they might included service fee already). Their pancake was great. It was smooth and moist.

Cute, simple brunch menu.Knows for their Benedict’s. Order a single, the classic double, or 3 whole Benedict’s! Mix n match is recommended.Great mimosa selection as well!

Overall the food and ambiance was good. Arriving 15-20 minutes prior to opening gives you the choice of seats is recommended. Had the homemade feel and was enjoyable. 3 stars because the food (egg scramble) came out cold. Crab Benedict was the winner of the day.

Excellent food, cool (french I spired) interior, and good service. It's a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. Very popular with some good outdoor seating options. Because they were so busy, the service suffered a bit, but it certainly wasn't bad. The servers were kind and thoughtful. It is an exceptional restaurant, food and overall great experience! I would certainly come back here again!

We had a great visit at Zazie's for Brunch, we decided to come here because we were told there were a lot of gluten free options which helped accommodate one of our other travelers, we all tried varies entrees that were very delicious! Only reason for 4 stars was because the seating arrangements were really cramped

great food tip free restaurant owned by workers, with good wages and health care and benefits, highly recommended

First time here as recommended by my date who's a local. One thing anyone needs to know right away is the terrible parking in any direction. Not familiar with California made it difficult to find my way here but eventually parked several blocked away. The food was OK, nothing too special. Was prepared well and the mocha latte ended up being the favorite. But I'll admit, it was quite expensive forward brinch food which was a bit of a shock for two plates of French toast and two lattes. Thankfully, the service was great and quick. Overall not too bad, but I'll go elsewhere for brunch at half the cost.
