Loved #16 Spicy cold noodles, includes tender lettuce leaves. Traditional Korean bean sauce was comfort food with spicy version preferred. It was very quiet when we were there, which we were glad of. Might be a little too warm and close if it was busy, but then we would happily do take out. The staff was welcoming, the ambiance very unassuming.
Great Korean noodle house for jam pong and jajamien (zam pong / za zang myun) and other great korean dishes like yook gae jang. Also have a really neat split bowl of spicy korean seafood noodle soup and black sauce noodles. Very healthy and appetizing, could eat here every day!Beautiful, well done interior as well.
So delicious! Tang soo yuk and Zam za myeon is a good choice for 2 people.
Nice people. Just be ready for lots of sauce. If you don’t mind that then you’ll be OK. the noodles were a little soggy and it was pretty expensive for what I got probably wouldn’t go here again but for not a terrible experience.
Simple place to go if you’re in the mood for black bean noodles. The flavor of the black bean is ok, nothing out of this world. We like going here because it’s easy parking and a quick bite! We also ordered a kimchi fried rice to go that was decent as well. The dumplings were also just ok as was the fried squid and bibimbap. Not too many places in the area serve Korean noodles like this so this spot does fill a gap so it should get another for that! It’s a nice change from the k-BBQs that get a lot of attention and I often forget it’s there!
Saw Zazang on Check Please, had an opportunity to try tonight coming home from the Cherry Blossom Festival in SF. Was very pleased, the noodles were good and the black bean sauce was quite savory, and with a slight hint of spiciness. The dumplings we had were also quite excellent. Will definitely be going again!
My partner went to go pick up my order which I placed online and was harassed by the staff worker who asked for a phone number and photo of the order. She provided the correct number and my name and I sent pictures to her to show the restaurant but this was still not acceptable to them. I think this was an instance of discrimination and racism on the part of the storeowners. I haven't had an issue with pickup orders when showing proof before so buyers beware.
Underrated noodle joint. The texture of the noodles is on point and portions are very large. The fried chicken is low key great too
Generous portions, very refreshing! Very nice staff
Very yummy food. Hidden gem.
