My friends and I happened upon Za’atar while we were picking up a rental vehicle. Don’t let the location fool you. The staff is amazing! As is the food! 10/10 would recommend!

I like their selection of drinks - golden truth and olapop brands are both good. However their dessert is disappointing. The tahini cookie is utterly bland and the chocolate baklava is way too sweet. The chocolate flavor doesn't go with the baklava at all. But maybe their food offerings are good which I will be back to try for sure.

Average take out, and definitely not as good as I was expecting from reading other reviews. The lamb and kebab bowl had some good flavors but the meal was really dry, almost overcooked. The rice was mashed together and the vegetables were hit or miss, some well cooked others not very good at all. The sauces were good though. The place was pretty busy when I picked up because nobody had been at the window for 10 minutes. They forgot some items on my order. Check your bag before you leave!

Very good. Currently I am on a restricted diet and their cauliflower rice and the “save your carbs for a drink kabob salad” was excellent ! Thanks so much

I get the grilled chicken bowl. The cauliflower and purple Broccoli have the slightest crunch to them and I love it! The flavors are so good! I Doordash this place almost every week for my provided meal at work and it's always right on time.

WOW YES PLEASE. Fresh ingredients, delicious preparation , a feast for the eyes and a celebration in my mouth. This is THE SPOT for Mediterranean food, it’s seriously delicious and also gorgeous. Highly recommend.

Haven’t eaten there, looks good but online ordering only. It’s not a sit down place

Ordered a Salmon wrap and fries and baklava to go.Wanted to eat the fries on the drive home, but the fries tasted old, like they had been reheated.Went back and they gave me fresh fries and an extra baklava.Well. These were probably the best fries I've ever eaten. The seasoning was wonderful. Za'atar? The baklava was ok and I honestly don't remember much about the salmon wrap, because the fries were so good.

Outstanding Mediterranean food! Za’atar is a hidden gem in SF! Falafel wrap was the perfect combo of crunchy, spicy and saucy. Hummus, baba ghanoush and muhammara (red pepper and walnut spread) are all great, especially with the soft, warm pita. My family also enjoyed the lamb and beef kebab wrap and the chopped salad. Online ordering works great and the food was all ready at the time requested. Will definitely come back here again.

This is a takeout window. Consistent with our planning abilities, we didn’t know that when we rolled up so were a bit disappointed at first. We’re dumb sometimes ??‍♂️.We ordered online. It said it would be 30 mins. We let them know that we were already there. It took 5 minutesThe food was so good. My hangry frown was turned upside down real quick after biting into the lamb shoulder wrap. At first I was perplexed by the inclusion of fries in my wrap, but they were really good. My girlfriend’s chicken salad was fresh and the Za’atar dressing was dope. Only comment is that the tomatoes were not very good; fresh, not good flavor, but good tomatoes are a commodity ITE so we forgave them.Really tasty food, and they were nice. 5 stars.
