The place is empty, and looks very dirty. Food is at best okay. Probs avoid.
A shadow of its former self. It is a shame it used to be a place where you would get fresh food and now you get day old grilled chicken and maybe week old refried falafels. The owner is a nice guy but he should either go back to a higher standard or close shop.
This place was pretty good awhile back, yet it does not really have what you want , such as lamb Shawarma.
I haven't been here in well over 3 years now. That last visit a few years back was completely different than this one. I was in the area about a week ago and thought, what the heck. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma, deluxe, minus eggplant. The best thing about it was it was hot and more than plentiful. The ladies were very nice. Unfortunately, this is where it stopped for me. It was pretty much flavorless. The chicken had absolutely no taste or flavoring; the hummus was also quite bland; the onions, tomatoes, pickles and cucumbers were almost non existent and the Tahini sauce was quite bitter. The most disappointing aspect were the house fries, which made it deluxe. They weren't fries at all, but more like mashed potatoes, so it was really mushy. Because I was starving, I ate a good portion of it, but it just never improved. My friend ordered a soda w/hers and they didn't even have any straws or cups. So odd. Clearly others have had a far better experience than mine. I shall try another Mediterranean place in the future.
Friend ate. Looks good. Should give you bread for the hummus.
Excellent food. Great quality, flavours, portions, and prices. I highly recommend you include a side order of dolmas and halva with your meal. Both are heavenly.
Was looking forward to some middle eastern cuisine. I was sadly disappointed.
Shocked that this place was reviewed so highly. We ordered the shawarma and kebab plates and they were incredibly salty. One of the worst meals we've had in a while.Felafel and rice were fine.
Thank you very much to the gentleman I spoke to about my Door Dash order. Like a hungry lunatic, I noticed an incorrect address after I placed my order. DD site or app doesn't make it easy for end users to make changes before your order has started... so i contacted Yumma's directly. Thank you sir, for taking my address, taping it to my order AND informing the driver. He arrived on-time, food was still hot (of course delicious)!!! Above and beyond service, much appreciated. ?
Awesome chicken shawarma! Open later than most places in the area- appreciated the friendly service and the chicken grilled to order.
