This has been my go to spot for past three years. We have always enjoyed their dumplings. You can’t go wrong with Chicken and shiitake mushroom dumplings. Pork and cabbage is good too but not that great, it didn’t taste the same from what I had last time. I would skip their noodle soup though, too oily and somewhat bland for my taste. I noticed they have started charging for togo containers; fairly reasonable given that prices have gone up for everything these days!If you are in sunset, give them a try! The wait might disappoint you but their dumplings would not.

Came into SF to visit family and got some dishes to shareFood/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - ordered 3 dumpling dishes of: Shiitake Mushroom & Fish Dumpling, Celery & Pork Dumpling, and Pork & Three Delicacies. Since it's hand made, some of the dumplings were very uneven in ingredients (not in size) which made some very sweet or sour based on the filling. The wrappings had a nice bite without being too chewy and they provided two dipping sauces with a spicy and a vinegar based soy sauce. Each person has a different favorite but they were enjoyed across the board.House Special Beef Noodles had a generous portion of beef and a nice clear broth that was earthy without being too salty. Maybe since we got it to go, the noodle didn't absorb much flavors from the soup but it still have good texture.Hot and spicy beef tendon had a kick that is very enjoyable. These are thin cut slices that pack a punch in flavorAmbience: N/A - ordered food to go but it's nicely decorated and looks clean. You can see through the window to how they're wrapping and preparing the dumplingsService: 5/5 - quick and efficient! It's SF so they do check COVID card at the door if you're choosing to eat at the restaurant. We arrived at lunch hours and was quoted about 20 minutes for the food to be readyValue for price: 5/5 - very tasty and reasonable in price. We were surprised at the charges for the to go boxes but we were reassured that it's fairly normal in SF

Delicious dumplings and beef noodle soup. Worth the wait. Very clean and bright restaurant with an open kitchen. House Beef Noodle Soup. Broth was delicious, beef was very tender, noodles were perfectly springy and chewy. Shrimp, Chive, & Egg Dumplings were amazing! Shitake Mushroom & Chicken Dumplings were just ok.

Waited about 20 minutes before we could go in.Ordered and the food came out super quickly! The wait was worth it as everything tasted great. Ordered the:- sliced pig ears- beef noodle soup w/ mustard greens (spicy)- shrimp chive and egg dumpling- pork and cabbage dumplingMy favorite was the sliced pig ears and beef noodle soup! My parents really loved the two dumplings.I personally prefer my noodles more springy and chewy, but the portions are super filling. Get spicy for a nice kick.

Stopped by alone on a Sunday afternoon for a snack and had some absolutely incredible dumplings and cucumber salad! Super clean and pleasant, only had to wait 5-10 minutes for a table, and servers were very nice and attentive. Really enjoyed watching them make the dumplings through the window.

I stopped during a Sunday afternoon and it was not very busy. When you enter, the staff will ask if you are dining in or ordering food to take out to go. I showed my vaccination status with my digital vaccine card on my phone and was promptly seated. The waitress filled a cup with complimentary water as I waited for my food to arrive. I would say that I received my plate of shiitake mushroom and fish dumplings (香菇魚肉水餃) within 5-8 minutes of ordering. Although I speak Cantonese, I was impressed with their quick and efficient service. At your table, you have containers of vinegar, black vinegar, soy sauce, and chili oil to develop a dumpling dipping sauce to your liking. As a petite lady, I was able to devour a plate of handmade dumplings on my own and I felt very satisfied. If you're dining with another person, I would suggest you get 2 plates to share and try other dumplings. For $10.85, a plate of 14 freshly made dumplings makes for a warm, quick, filling, and healthy meal. I had cash on hand and made sure to leave a tip. I'd definitely return to try other items on their menu!

Had this sitting in my bookmark for a while and finally got to try it out. Scheduled an order on UberEats and came in still piping hot! Usually restaurants don't really pay attention to the notes/special instructions on your order.. or at least they don't for me.. but Yuanbao Jiaozi did a fantastic job at taking the time to read and fulfill my order/requests. I had asked for non-spicy for my noodles and some extra sauce on the side, and they made sure to get my order correct. As a customer, I appreciate them for their attentiveness.「 O R D E R E D + V E R D I C T 」1. House Special Beef Noodle Soup | 5/5: Probably one of the best beef noodles I've had in a while. Beef cubes and slices were super tender. Noodles were cooked perfectly. Soup was flavorful and coated the noodles well!2. Shiitake Mushroom and Fish Filet | 4/5: These dumplings are less dense than normal dumplings because of the minced sole fish instead of the usual pork fillings. I think I'd prefer pork over fish. But overall, the dumpling was good! Very flavorful. You can taste the shiitake mushrooms. Skin wasn't too thick or thin. Going to have to try their soup dumplings next time!Overall, 4.5 stars!07.22.2022 | Thursday @4:15pm

Walked pass this restaurant for a while and finally I can try it. It is not a big restaurant and they have only 2 types of noodle soup, dumplings and some appetizers. There is show-case of dumplings making so that you can see chefs making dumplings. There are around 7 types of dumplings(make fresh for each order) I ordered shrimp & zucchini one but it is just so so for me. I’ll try something else next time. Pig’s ear is my favorite. Love it. Spicy beef noodle is good as well. The best thing is good price which is pretty hard to find in San Francisco now. I will go there again for sure :)

The staff was kind and everything was fresh and flavorful. 14 dumplings for $10 is a steal. In Texas, we pay $12 for 6 (if we are lucky!) and they aren’t even this good. The only complaint I have, and I have this all over San Francisco is the COVID hysteria. You don’t need to see proof of vaccination. If you are that scared of people, do t do business.

Went here in search of comforting dumplings and was not disappointed! My husband and I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup, chicken & shiitake mushroom dumplings, and the pork & celery dumplings. Typically, I shy away from a traditional beef noodle soup cause it can be oily for me but their beef noodle was light and the broth was very flavorful. Because our eyes were bigger than our stomachs, we left with plenty of leftovers. We took their advice and pan fried the dumpling to reheat - definitely a game changer. Will be doing that more often. Lastly, their homemade chili oil is great. They should bottle it and sell it. I will definitely be coming back here!
