Best orange chicken ever incredible dumplings. Just delicious
One of my favorite Dim Sum restaurants in SF, but things haven't been the same since they moved from the restaurant proper into the atrium. The service is a bit more sparse and longer wait time, but you can't beat the Shanghai dumplings!
Had the pleasure of meeting owner Vera. Was in SF from NYC and so happy had the chance to dine there. Highly recommend in every way.
been coming to Yank Sing for years. Food never disappoints. The venue itself however at the Rincon Center is terrible. No ambiance, no atmosphere. Located in the atrium of large office building. Stark, cold, noisy. Atrium has glass ceiling so during the day many many tables in the sun and very hot. They tried to seat us at a table in sun; I requested a change which they did without question. I would recommend maybe their other location. Hopefully that venue is better
We always receive quality customer service and excellent food.
It had been several years since we returned to San Francisco. When in town we always go to Yank sing because of our love of dim sum. Yank Sing is the best in the city and we were very happy to see that it still is truly the best.
Impressively large central lobby. Tables were full by 11:00 am. Food carts came quickly after we were seated. Great that they had a menu showing what each dish was. Smallish, but adequate selection of drinks. All the servers were excellent. Food was great. Pretty expensive!
One of the best dim sum in the area of San Francisco
Great dim sum as we recall from pre-Covid experiences. Only negative is that dining area for Saturday lunch was in the central area of Rincon Center which is less intimate consisting of banquet style tables assembled in the central area. However, service was very attentive and friendly as usual. Food is excellent if you you like dim sum. I recommend this for a special occasion as the food is not inexpensive, but worth it.
As I experienced at the Stevenson location years ago, Yank Sing never fails to meet or exceed expectations. The Shanghai Dumplings are a consistent favorite of mine.
