My grandfather used to make steamed fish for me. Simple, fresh flavors with scallions and a touch of oil and ginger. I love the spicy steamed fish here. Try the green beans and lamb too!
Ordered take out order. Waited more than an hour. Would not recommend.
Doordash order: Too much liquid in the container, beef not braised or flavorful and the ratio of meat to vegetables was horrible. I wouldn't waste money on them. Mushrooms and baby bok choy w/beef added.
I thoroughly enjoyed Xiao Loongs twist to their hot and sour soup. They also have some of the best pot stickers I've ever tried. A pork belly and/or prawns dish is also recommended, but I should note that 4 dishes should be more than enough for a party of 2.
It must be their wonderful chefs. The food is consistently classic and flavorful. The service efficient and pleasant. The interior cool and relaxing. At a fair and reasonable price point.
Terrible value. Order noodle combo with shrimp & chicken? Get 2 shrimp & a few small pieces of chicken, 95% noodles. Moo shu pork no different, a plate full of cabbage with some mushrooms & hardly any pork.No return here.
The service is great. Problem is the food. I echo the other reviews about the food. Bland. Flavorless.Ordered the spinach with mung bean noodles, and tasted like boiled spinach with no salt, pepper, just horrible. The fried Mongolian beef, was dry and bland. Hard as nails. The Ma Po tofu tasted like sauce poured over tofu. The name sake Xiao Long dumplings. Supposed to be paper thin dumplings. Ha! Was serious dough, could have played ping pong with them. And they did not provide the dipping sauce. I made some at home to go with it.All for $78.00.I've ordered here before and every year it goes down hill.Again, great service but food sucks.
The spicy eggplant and green beans is very good.
Food is always fresh and tasty, great service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Always excellent service. Always accommodating. High quality ingredients and dishes. For example all sauces taste different, plump fresh shrimp versus tiny frozen ones. Curb side pickups are a plus. Unquestionably the best Chinese food in West Portal and one of the best in San Francisco.
