They've been doing a great job at this corner for (maybe?) 10 years! Empanadas are always hot and ready to go. You can get a quick pack of beers for the park. Woods at Dolores is what the park has needed.
Bar tender is pretty lazy and rude. Terrible service and I feel like it was just because we weren't white.Beer was acceptable, but the guy is an a**hole
I've been a long time Woods fan, coming every week or so after a Dolores visit. Solid beer, great empanadas. Often get some to go for home.But the last couple times was a real disappointment. Today I get there, order a 4-pack to go (for home) and empanadas (for there). Walk around the corner to their parkettes, where 5 of 6 were open. Sit down and eat empanadas. Server buddy comes around the corner and says we can't sit there because we ordered beers to go. Dude, really? We ordered food from you AND it was almost completely empty. Pretty disappointing service for a place that used to be great.I really hope they get their old staff back, because whoever was working on 8/14 is really letting down what was previously a great establishment. Still 3 stars for the quality of the product.
Nice Parkside empanadas and beers. Everyone comes for the Mate beers, and though it isn't my particular style it is interesting. There is a wide variety of beer styles to fit any palate (instead of the typical 6 IPAs and a Pilsner at many places). Friendly service and reasonable prices.
Everything is excellent! Great service, empanadas, and the beer is superb. I highly recommend the Mateveza.

Wonderfully complex flavors. Love the Bret, the natural fermentation, the use of wine barells. The best part is they have lighter options (4%) that still deliver said complexity. Finally you can enjoy a pint that tastes good without getting tanked. The second best part is they have small format (8oz) for some of their higher ABV products so you can have just the right amount or open two to get one full pint. It's so simple yet so brilliant. I love so many of the breweries around here from Fieldwork to Cellarmaker but Wood's is the best as a go-to in the fridge for these reasons.

So late one night, my roommate, bf and I had a craving for deep dish pizza and were ecstatic to find out that Little Star was nearby. Too bad it took 5 minutes to get there, but 20 minutes to find parking!
