My husband and I went to lunch here and was amazed that they had the desert that we liked. It was called the Turkish delight. I love it. The only other place I got was at the Marina. Anyway, I thought the gyro was OK and the desert was best. The service was easy and fast. The restaurant was a little bit older.
Hands down the best chicken gyro with their magic side sauce ever!!!! It is so full and wonderful and dip it into their side sauce they give you and seriously there is nothing better. I have an expenses account when I travel but when you travel you want yummy and hearty and delicious! And this case can't be beat!The guy that runs the place is super nice and very sweet!Can't recommend this place enough!
I stopped off at Van Ness Cafe & Gyros on my way to the 2022 SF waterfront fireworks. I absolutely enjoyed the various food types and Mediterranean items. The Cafe is very clean, organized and well managed. I ordered dessert and my friends ordered a full meal of Chicken kabobs, Rice, Hummus, and Turkish tea. The prices are very reasonable during this time of inflation. If you have an opportunity, please treat yourself to a meal at the Van Ness/Gyros Cafe
Great place to grab a quick bite!Amazing food. Perfectly cooked and very decently priced. It doesn’t get any better than this when it comes to Middle Eastern food. Staff is very friendly as well. The cashier/waitress was amazing. Everything was brought to the table. Overall 10/10
Absolutely the best gyro I've ever had. Beef is juicy, tender, melts in your mouth. Sauces are full of flavor. It's all home made! Went back for a second time today and got two orders of the lamb and beef gyro. Wish I would have had room for a third serving. 10 stars out of 5!
The lady server was so rude to me. I just came there to order Turkish delight then her appearance and attitude was terrible. She was talking to me like I'm nobody. Looking above to me. I really regret that I came there after the mosque. The food itself is not fresh always. Disappointed!!!
The best gyro store in San Francisco. The owner is so friendly and very kind. Foods are delicious i always eat gyro wrap and iskander kebab both are very delicious recommend you too. Prices are fair.
They are open late! On my way home at 1am I stopped by and purchased the most delicious gyros!What a gem to find open so late, I love this place I will definitely go again.I got the lamb which was more flavorful than the chicken but both were good choices.
The meals are delicious and a great service is provided. The variety is satisfying as well. Try, you won't regret it!
