Tried several items. We sat in the back garden at picnic table with an induction plate in the center. I prefer chairs with a back, way more comfortable.Korean BBQ wings with ginger soy. Excellent, very crispy, just the right amount of sauce.Mackerel was ok. Didn't eat more than a couple of bites. Overcooked, no taste.Seafood pancake was very good. Crispy and soft inside, held together and tasty.Fingerling potatoes were smothered in their sauce, the spicy finish was a surprise. Overall good service.
I work in the service industry truly want local places to succeed and I don't like writing negative reviews, but considering how expensive this place is and how many positive reviews it had, I wanted to share our experience.-We were sat at a storage table off to the side next to stacks of boxes and a spare chair.-The table was way too long and one side had a stack of boxes and and some spare chair, so we had to sit at the corner.-I was sticking out into the aisle and we had almost no leg room for our legs, much less my small bag.-Table didn't have a grill. It was so clearly a storage table inconveniently placed in the aisle to seat people.-When I asked if we could sit at any of the other ~4 open tables, she said no, they are all reserved. At 4:30pm on a Saturday.-Server told us, "That's why we sat you here." is what she said.-There were open tables in the front and in the parklet outside, with only about 10 customers at the time including us, and still closed off several tables. It simply felt like they didn't want to help us for some reason. If they really wanted to reserve those tables, that's fine, but no one among 3 people told us about that so we were just placed somewhere. Why was our experience not as valuable as people who weren't even there (yet)?I won't be going again especially considering how many Korean options there are.
Service kinda suck, especially the sassy host. First impression as we walked in: Unpleasant. Some food is nice but I would not recommend it if you wanna have nice Korean BBQ experience, any topping are extra, few leafs of lettuce is 5$ ?The serving and dishes could be better. Please throw away all of the broken plates, and teach your host the basic of greeting. It was pretty warm to be outdoor, they have heaters.Thank you! Not coming back!
KBBQ on the patio!

The food was amazing, every bite was packed with delicious flavor. Service was genuine and friendly, and they all knew what they were talking about!
We ordered fried chicken with all three sauces, kimchi fried rice, bibimbap, kimchi pancake and seafood pancake, and galbi. The best was the galbi and kimchi fried rice. The food tasted quite bland overall and everything was a tad bit too sweet. It's definitely mellowed down Korean flavors. The vibe of the place was nice though.
Great place for some quality Korean food. The sullungtang soup was definitely one of the best soups I've had. The flavor of the broth was nice and rich. The LA style kalbi was just money! You can tell it was good from just looking at the quality of it. The kimchi fried rice, charred gai-lan, and Korean fried chicken were also pretty tasty. The service was very friendly and attentive. Overall, cool place to check out.
Always an amazing experience at the newly minted Bib Gourmand! The food is spot on! We never cook it ourselves on the BBQ grill, but that is an option if you desire. The meat comes out perfect from the chef, the flavors are on point. Even the pancakes and broccoli are a gift of flavor and soul. Thanks Um.ma!
Nice patio and excellent service. Location is great too, so if you don't know the area plan to explore a bit.About the food itself, I loved the fried chicken (really crunchy!). The rest was good but not great, but I'm not a lot into Korean food.Reasonably priced.
