Had lunch this afternoon and was quite disappointed. I ordered the grilled pork over rice with a side order of soup and fried egg for an extra $3.25. The grilled pork tasted like jerky without any flavor and there was no taste of the meat that should have been marinated. Not sure if it’s old and they just reheated it, regardless, for the price they charged, I expected a little more decency. Rice was definitely not of good quality because of the texture and taste. Soup was meh.. and the fried egg was over cooked. Already deleted the place from my favorite.
We were in a hurry and very cold when we showed up to eat. We asked if we could be accommodated and the host told us “not a problem” We were quickly seated and after we ordered our food was served quickly. It was delicious we had the #2, #6 and the chicken noodle soup they were all great!
Pho ga or congee is the thing to get. Best asian chicken noodle soup in SF.
Quick and efficient service. Tasty brothe and smooth/soft rice noodles. Prices have increased since start of 2020 but that's to be expected. Still a good deal overall for what you get.
My go to when I come here. I love their chicken pho ga. I recommend eating this in person and togoing. But it's delicious

Horrible experience! I’m just giving 2 stars because the staff is so friendly. But food was REALLY BLAND! I tried Vietnamese food before and I loved it. I asked about basil and the sprouts and they just told me that it’s Vietnamese from a different part of Vietnam ??♀️ Maybe I’m ignorant about authentic Vietnamese but I know when something taste bland. I asked for the chicken pho and the dry pho, even adding a lot of salt couldn’t fix it. It probably will work for people sensitive to spices and strong flavors. But if you like what you traditionally get at a Vietnamese restaurant, DONT GO THERE! Sadly, I will not be coming back.
