Best meal in the Mission, maybe even in SF.Excellent and affordable on-the-go/takeout/delivery spot for authentic, healthy, and freshly made Levantine/Middle Eastern style wraps. My favorites are the chicken or lamb shawarma or falafel. Ask for spicy (you’ll be glad you did). My mouth is watering just writing this. Vegetarian options. Baklava is good too. Minimal seating.
I came here on a whim I normally go across the street to one of my favorite restaurants but I was craving Mediterranean food. First off the Falafel is made to order and you get to watch it is a beautiful process. The service expeditious and delicious I ordered the lamb shawarma and was pleasantly surprised by all of the flavor. Check out a San Francisco classic that has even been honored by Anthony Bourdain
Hole in the wall but absolutely is worth every star on that rating.... to the point that I think any restaurant that survives next to it must be superb as well because these people's food quality can close down anything unworthy. Food looks basic.... absolutely the best basic at the food they serve. Stools against the wall consistutes you indoor sitting and 2 tables outside as your outdoor... order to go is your best choice
One of the most authentic and delicious Mediterranean wraps in the mission. Delicious food love the tahini. The lamb shawarma is halal and the most delectible item on the menu. They have falafel wraps too though for the vegetarian eaters. Their hot sauce is perfectly spicy A+++
I thought it was OK. My friend could not finish his shawarma. Usually I am a fan of stuffing the shawarma with meat, but this place may have done it to a fault. The meat took over when it could have used veggies or potatoes/ fries to balance it out more. If I go back, I would like to try the lamb. Overall, it filled me up, I didn't hate it, but it wasn't worth the price.Service was excellent and staff seemed very friendly. They were eager to take out order and get it right.
Great food. Full of flavor and fresh ingredients. The staff is super friendly.
Best falafel I've had. My usual order is the vegetable combo and an order of kefta kabob (no picture) . Generous portions so I can usually have two - three meals, if I can control myself. The babba ganoush has that smokey eggplant taste ?I loved everything. I don't like it when dolmas are oily and mushy, but theirs are not. Everything is fresh! Made my own falafel pita sandwich this time. Usually the pita are cut in pieces, but I got two whole pitas. Look at that beautiful falafel! The staff is always welcome and friendly.
This is one of those locals favorite consistently good food since years. Their falafel wrap is the BEST. The right crisp from outside and soft in inside and flavorfulDon’t forget to ask for a side of hot sauce I have been having their falafel wraps since 2016 but this time I finally decided to write review! Chicken shawarma wraps are great too!
Family-owned and operated eatery for shawarma (gyro). They offer lots of add in options like baba ganoush, and they grill up each wrap for a toasty char on the lavash bread. Not feeling meat? They make great falafel, too.Pro tip: lamb is now available every day, even on chicken days
Excellent food and superior service! Don’t be put off by the humble storefront; the falafel wrap and med plate among many others are awesome! Great service too. Once, we had a small mix up with an internet order. They fixed it promptly and then some!
