This place is fantastic!!! I wish I could give them more stars. The staff is welcoming and super accommodating ( allergies) . The place is clean , great ambiance .The food - A M A Z I N G! We ordered the Vegetarian feast which it’s said it’s for two people . One thing: it was plenty food ( and this girl loves to eat ) second : the choices of vegetarian dishes are so well prepared . I don’t even like Brussels sprouts but oh my - they were delicious . Im definitely coming back here withought a doubt!
Seated and served quickly for some appetizers. Fabulous lentil soup, roasted cauliflower, and hummus. Basmati rice arrived in a reddish sauce, which was unexpected. Great Turkish hot tea. Quinoa salad was pretty good, but the lentil soup was the real winner here. Very nice staff.
Incredible food. The lamb shoulder is out of this world. Hummus is very well seasoned. I don’t know how this place isn’t packed. Coming here again. Many more times
Pleasantly surprised by the delicious vegetarian prix fixe for 2 and top notch service. Pet friendly outdoor seating shed on a busy section of Fillmore.
Troya is a special experience! They have great options for vegetarians as well as gluten free folks, and their staff are always so friendly and attentive. The food is fresh and delicious. I love the vegetarian moussaka and the cauliflower starter ð
Delicious food - hummus with lamb, muhamarra, and roasted cauliflower. Nice outdoor seating.
This might be a crazy saying….but Troya is, and might be the best Mediterranean food I have had in sf, okay okay maybe the BAY AREA by FARRRR. What’s surprising is, I like Mediterranean food, but would never go out of my way because it’s just not my favorite. But I will happily go out of my way for Troya. The food, the service is all exceptional. The falafel and the fries, ugh I crave those weekly. I literally never have liked Turkish delights but the ones there, wow. Wow wow wow
Visiting San Francisco for my 14-year-old’s birthday and we decided to have dinner here. Now, most young teens may balk at za’atar spice and vegetable dishes, but not this kid. Oh no. The food was “possibly the best meal I’ve EVER had”, said the teen. She closed her eyes and tilted her head back at the flavors. She loved the decor. She shared all her dishes with me (her dorky mom) and asked if I loved it as much as she did. What a kid. What a place. They even brought her a little plate with 2 flavors of baklava, one with a candle in it. NOICE. We wish we had such a cute place in our city. Thank you, Troya.
Flavors were great. The patio was protected from the windy conditions. And there were heat lamps to keep us warm. Would go back!
We had to be on California Street for an event, and, as we are unfamiliar with restaurants in that area, did some research and assessment and randomly selected Troya. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was pleasant and not rushed. We arrived early and, after completing our meal, we were allowed to linger longer as another table for four was not needed at that time on a Monday evening. We do not live near the restaurant, but if we are in that area again, would definitely go back.
