This was my first time eating here and it was delicious! We arrived for late lunch and put our name on their waitlist. We were on the waitlist for approx. 20 min, which was much shorter than the time they told us which was nice.We sat outside and our waiter was great! The food came out really fast and the two pizzas we got were delicious!!!

We actually ordered via UberEats to be delivered to our hotel room the night before we flew out. Only having been in SF for memorial day weekend we found ourselves not having enough time (or room in our stomachs) for all of the eateries recommendations. When Sunday afternoon came up and we were too tired to go out (after a long Muir Woods & Napa excursion) we knew we had to uber eats Tony's. We ordered the Pasta Genevese & St Anthony's pizza. Both were unbelievably fantastic and the pizza seemed almost even better the next day as our "running to the airport" breakfast. We will *definitely* return to Tony's next time we're in SF (counting down the days actually!)

We had two meals here during out stay. The place was packed each visit (afternoons). There are lots of seats outside, although some of them are quite tilted due to their situation on a hill. But great to be outdoors nonetheless. They have a wide selection of pizzas to offer from thin to thick crust pizzas with creative toppings. We felt that it was very expensive, however, we were able to make two meals out of it by boxing some to take home. We ate the La Regia Sicilian za (thick crust square - lots of meat, hot and spicy); we had the Caesar salad -- beautiful presentation and flavour; Meatball sub (to die for!!!); Burrata Blossom za (round, thinner crust). Great food, great vibe.

Great atmosphere, great service and the best pizza I have eaten. Recommend the Detroit style. So good we went back.

Lovely food, great staff. Can't fault anything about the visit. Detroit style is awesome! Was visiting the city for 5 days and ended up going twice. 5 stars.

We stopped for dinner our first night in San Francisco. We ordered the Sicilian pepperoni pizza and an Italian salad. Both items were large portions and delicious. We stopped in again later in our trip and tried the Caesar salad and spaghetti and meatballs. Again, portions were generous and food was tasty. Service both times was good.

I would rate them a 4.5 if I could, as I reserve 5 stars for the very best places. That being said, Tony's serves great food. There was a long line as expected but we were given a digital queue number so we could head off somewhere else while we waited. Got seated much sooner than the timing given to us, which was great. We ordered a New Yorker and a Bucatini, really delicious and the portions were huge. We had to pack what we couldn't finish.

Expensive and not really italian, just regular food but nothing fancy or better than anywhere else, just average.Went here for lunch and got seated immediately, waiter was friendly though always busy and in a rush.I had the Margherita which claimed to be the best on the menu, wife ordered the pasta genovese (see photos).Ordered garlic bread as a starter (see photo), which was surprisingly good.Pizza was ok though too fat though the crust was thin.Especially the pasta had way too much cream sauce and the pesto wasn't intense, just saw like 5 pine nuts. There was no bread served for pasta.Maybe that's "americanized" but I expected something better for a restaurant claiming to serve real italian food.As I asked for some soda without ice (cause the first soda was way too cold to drink (2/3 was ice)), I still got a another soda with 1/2 ice.Overall: if you're in desperate need of some food, go for itBut if you've got time, maybe aim for a different restaurant with better food quality.Paid around 75$ incl tax overall

Expensive isn't even the word. Pizzas in the region of $30 and not even in my top 10 of best pizzas. The crust was dense and crunchy not light and crispy. More like a baked frozen pizza than a freshly made one cooked in a proper oven.

We eat a lot of pizza but this place was special!Service, great!Beer and Wine selection, great!Vibe, fun!Pizza, yes please! We started with the Cheesy Garlic bread which was a great choice. A lot of garlic flavor without being too overpowering. Super cheesy. And the bread help up. It stayed a bit crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. For Pizza we tried the Drunken Sicilian. It had a vodka sauce which was mind blowing. But the star is the crust. Its like a pillow, but also not? So soft on the inside and still a good bit on the outside. YES YES YES!We also tried the Margherita Napoletana which was still good, but not as good as the Sicilian. All in all, we'll be back because I'm still thinking about that Drunken Sicilian!
