Great patio. One of my all time favorite places for a breakfast croissant and coffee.. mostly because of the patio at the back.Almond croissant is awesome, so is the coffee. Wish I could say the same thing about the Bostock ..

This is easily the best bakery in SF! I especially love the beautiful back garden area. They have an especially talented employee, Kathleen, who gave me the best service imaginable. Kudos to being a great business!

Please support this place! They have some of the best sandwiches in San Francisco and they are affordable. Also if you're looking for a great patio to hang out in, this is the move!!

Wow.....Describes Thorough Bread & Pastry. Thank you for breathing life back into Church Street & Market Street. Amazing bakery and staff. I absolutely love the compliment of sight Glass Coffee. So classy and European. The rear outdoor seating is perfectly unkept which feels natural.

Places like this are why 10 star reviews should exist. I think I could eat the chicken melt sandwich everyday for the rest of my life (if you want to elevate the experience even further, get the chicken melt on ciabatta). The brown butter cookies are also amazing, along with the raspberry almond croissants and the banana chocolate croissants. I honestly have been so emotionally attached to the items I've tried and I know that I love that I've been slow to try out the rest of their offerings, but I'll get there some day :)

Delicious baguettes!Super fresh artisinal pastries and breads. Super nice staff. No mega attitude like (Tartine?).Thouroughbread is my favorite Bakery in SF by far. ? ??

Literally THE BEST pastries in Norcal!!!! I've been going here for around 13 years and have never been disappointed in their quality coffee and deliciously authentic pastry. I recommend this place if you are hosting a dinner party due to their great pies and dinner rolls! BUT PLEASE- someone get them an ice machine

I love this place. Their pastries, especially croissants, are fantastic. The croissants are flaky and buttery with a thin crust that shatters as you bite into them, every bit as good as a Paris boulangerie. Their multigrain loaf may be the best bread I’ve ever had; it’s a little pricy, but well worth it.There’s indoor seating plus a beautiful outdoor area in the back. They also have a limited but excellent selection of espresso drinks. I often take refuge on their back terrace, leisurely enjoying a croissant and a cappuccino.

Every time I've been in Thorough Bread & Pastry it's been bustling. Everyone I've ordered from has been personable and I haven't had a bread or pastry that wasn't great. There's a nice selection of savoury goods as well. I usually leave with more than just the coffee and croissant I went in for.

Very cute garden in the back to enjoy your good coffee and tasty pastries.
