I ordered the first and last time from this restaurant and it took forever for them to give that order to the delivery driver. I was blaming my driver firstly, but he proved that he was there and the order was not ready it took 2 and more hours for the order to be delivered.
We wanted Italian food that was not 'fancy'. This place was perfect. You order your fresh made pasta with choice of sauce at the counter and take your number. They deliver it to your table. Seating is first come, first serve after ordering. The place is small; there are some tables outside as well. Our meals came and we were all pleasantly surprised. The meatballs were amazing. The ravioli, hand made, was smaller than your average ravioli but very tasty. The pesto was amazing. Portion sizes are large enough for a take home box. Glad we found this place on a quick search driving around SF. We will be back!
Pasta here is SO fresh and delicious.Prices are incredibly reasonable. If I lived here I would definitely eat here once a week!
I was very underwhelmed with how the food was served. Silver fork and knife didn’t go very well with paper plate. The ravioli was decent as well as the bolognese sauce. The gnocchi was the only thing I very enjoyed, it was very tender and dense at the same time. The meatballs were quite alright. The pasta option was pricing separately from the pasta sauce. I might be hard on this review because I had high expectation with this place.
My friend raved about this place, and I, as an Italian woman who knows great from good Italian food, was initially skeptical. I walk up to the location and was really excited to see it was rather understated. Then, walking in, I saw the food prep happening before my eyes and knew I was going to get a good meal. The pappardelle and bolognese sauce with meatballs was incredible, and they had cute patio seating. I highly recommend for an authentic Italian food experience.
Simple and light Italian food. Loved the light sauce. Definitely a place to try for authentic Italian food. Lot of choices for vegetarians. Tiramisu and caramel panna cotta were light and absolutely melt in your mouth.
Some of the best pasta I’ve Ever had. Very down to earth place with not bells and whistles unlike like the other Neighboring Italian restaurants. Very essential ingredients and dishes. The white sauce is ?
Good homemade pasta but severely overpriced. Cool menu and means to mix up any and all favorites from pasta shapes, sauces, stuffed pasta etc. needed proof of vax card to dine in therefore we had to sit outside which wasn’t that big of a deal. Overall good b wait n taste but not enough value for the price
Generous portions, good and fast service, good wine; but the pastas leave much to be desired in consistency and flavor. I do not recommend it if your intention was to enjoy Italian food, it only serves to fill the belly
Best pasta place in town, you have to try the tortellini with their amazing cheese sauce it is so delicious it what I order every time I visit this place. The have a nice outdoor seating and great wine and beer selection. Could not add a picture of the pasta because it was gone in minutes so delicious!!!!
