I absolutely love this place! They take ice cream and sodas to the next level. I tried the coconut, dark chocolate ice cream and the mint chocolate ice cream in a waffle cone, and it was honestly one of the best ice cream cones I've ever had. My friends went for the homemade soda, and I was impressed by the the way the soda was prepared. It feels like you're at a cocktail bar, watching a mixologist mix a drink. Not only are the ice cream and sodas great, but the atmosphere is wonderful too. It's similar to a soda shop from the 1950's and the guys that work there are friendly and dressed the part. I'll definitely be making more trips to Cole Valley in the future, just for this place!
My favorite ice cream parlor in all of San Francisco. Their carmelized honey flavor is simply to die for. Plus, they have incredible vegan options, taste just as good if not better than their other dairy flavors at time! Plus, the atmosphere is very reminiscent of 50s dining and they even have a cute soda bar! A great experience all-around.
Very retro place to hang, I got the mango passion fruit and dark chocolate which are both vegan and I thought they were really good, both those ice creams were really smooth and delicious
A great ice cream spot at ANY time of day. I love the atmosphere quite a bit and enjoyed coming here in the late evening. I tried 3 different flavors and all were delicious! Fudge brownie (maybe the best one), Mint Chip, and Carrot Cake.
The decor in this super hip retro place is just so cool. Will please adults with the boozy treats as well as the kids with ice cream! So unique and way cool.
The flavors were really good, they had some really unique flavors. The ambience is also really retro and enjoyable. Also the place is a 5 min walk from Ashbury haights. I had the roasted pineapple ice cream, red velvet and fudge brownie. The ice creams were all really good texture and consistency. The walnuts in the brownie were really good. My only complaint is that the serving size is quite small for the price, a scoop being maybe a quarter cup at most.
The ice cream is great! Especially the butterscotch. The waffle cone is the best I've ever had!
$10 for a cookie ice cream milkshake is pretty steep, but it was delicious. Earl Grey ice cream was rich and creamy; very tasty, but the heaviness surprised me -- I guess I thought it would be lighter.Decor is SUPER cute. Authentic retro. They have an actual 1940's soda machine!Great spot for date night ?
Great ice cream and friendly staff.
Excellent quality ice cream. Excellent service. A great experience all around. Flavors are pretty straight forward which I love. The place is very clean with a awesome retro feel/look. Can't wait to come back to try different flavors. The Banana Pudding ice cream was delightful. The Milk Chocolate ice was amazing. Highly recommend the Ice Cream Bar
