The food is ok (similar to mall court food), and really over priced. Rude service as well.
Food was quality for sure, just wished they had larger portions for the buck. Good eats, and grandma says the clam chowder was really good!
Bread was hard, chilli full of beans and bunch of powder. Do not even try to get the hot dog, the bread is 5 times bigger than the hot dog.
Nice fast seafood plates with nice flavour and taste in a informal environment. If you like fish you have to try it!

Came here after taking the cable car, and was pretty happy with the food. Fish was fried perfectly, and had that awesome crispy-yet-soft texture. Fries were nothing special, but we were here for the fish mostly. Great spot to grab some food away from the bustle of Fisherman's Wharf, and expect to get your food fairly quickly.
Clam chowder is ? great prices too!
We visited Pier 39 after a long day of traveling. We stopped at the Hook because it seemed it wasn't as busy as the other places & wanted a quick bite. It was very disappointing to say the least. We ordered the fish & chips. We took one bite and tasted nothing but hot oil. We could not finish the meal as the fish had no taste & the fries were cold. I'm giving it 2 stars as we did not try the other dishes.
