Great food with exactly what you’d expect of a food truck. Fish taco was not what they do well, glad we also got fish and chips. I had the audacity to ask if they had halibut…to clarify… at Codmother… it’s all cod
I had the combo. Fish and chips with 4 fried shrimp. Absolutely fantastic! The best thing I ate on my recent trip. The fish was cooked to perfection and the shrimp was delicious and big.Service was fast and friendly. The area was clean and safe. When I come back to San Francisco I will definitely come back to the Codmother.
I had the fish and chips. Fish was fresh and excellent! Fries were delicious as well. Food was served quickly as well. We ordered at the front, then after around 10-15 minutes we had our number called.
Strictly ok fish and chips especially since they were so oily! We had better on fisherman's wharf itself! The clam chowder was tasty though. Overall Nothing to write home about.

A food truck selling tasty seafood. I enjoyed the fish and chips and their calamari. While it wasn't the best I've had, it was definitely good and the prices were very fair. Not a lot of seating and it can get hot due to it being outdoor seating only. I'd definitely go back.
Good place for some seriously legit fish-n-chips.The batter was crispy, crunchy. The fries are made just right with a good amount of thickness. Finally that bread bowl was the icing on top. Creamy with a little chunkiness to it.I really hope I can come back.
We stopped by for fish & chips and clam chowder. I really want the calamari too but I knew I wasn't hungry enough so will have to come back for the calamari next timeFood was delicious! The fries were probably the best I've had in a long time - thick cut and super crispy on the outside, soft on the insideHighly recommended and will definitely be back!
Might be the best fish and chips I have ever had. Two big pieces of perfectly battered & fried cod that was hot, flaky and tasted amazing. As good as the fish was, the fries were the star for me. Thick cut fries that stayed firm when doused with malt vinegar. Salted perfectly. The shrimp were good too but the standouts were the fish and chips. If you are down in Fisherman's Wharf, skip the trendy expensive places for lunch and make this your stop!
Great fish&seafood. Clean. Quick. Tasty. Served good to go. Excellent combo options. Really good choice and will certainly come again!
