The staff is super friendly and welcoming. They are also pretty persistent about helping customers. When I was waiting for lunch someone got attacked. The staff first made sure he was fine, and then chased the man down + got him arrested before I even I got my burger. I was really impressed by this.As for the food I got a smash burger. The way I describe it is that it’s a $30 in and out animal style double double in a good way. It’s elevated and really tasty as you’d expect, but it’s also oddly nostalgic.

Updated 7/10/2022 - still think the price is a bit crazy; but still my go-to place for high quality steak. Updated the score from 4 to 5.The best part, in my opinion, of the store is the decorations and toys setting. They blend in with the meat presentation well and some of the toys and settings are rare and difficult to find. The quality of the meat is undoubtably very high. We tried the Japanese Wagyu, it’s like any other Japanese Wagyu - amazing, tasty, and expensive. We also tried the American Wagyu, it’s more expensive than those sold at Whole Foods but somehow less tender and lacks flavor in comparison. Will go back and try out the Bluefin Tuna next time.

Hands down the best butcher shop in California.Guy has everything from A5 wagyu (the real stuff) to premium tomahawk steaks. You need it? He's got it.Not to mention the service is always high-quality. These guys know steaks and are not afraid to share their knowledge with prospective customers. This has become the de-facto butcher shop within my friend circle, and I suggest you make it yours as well.

The employee in the shop is really friendly and informative. They are really knowledgeable about the meat they're showcasing. They really have fantastic customer service. Not to mention, all the meat in their shop look excellent and high quality. I will definitely come back and buy again in this shop.

Simply superb! So tender and melts in your mouth, with great flavor. Very rich. Smash burger has cheese and caramelized onions which is even richer.

Incredible taste, quality and customer service. Run don't walk here now! The lunch burgers are amazing. Seriously the best burger I've ever had.

Best burgers i have had in the bay area. Bring you appetite the burgers are BIG, JUICY, and just enough condiments to balance flavors. It is pricy but after your fist bite you forget all about price and go for a second bite.Fries are not included but you do get Kimchee and a bag of chip. I did not get to the kimchee or the chip, the burger was all I needed. If you in the area and want to treat you taste buds stop by this place, you will not regret it.Oh... this place is a real butchery that sells quite meet so if you want good steaks, you can pick some up for dinner too.

Always the best legit place for wagyu beef, highly recommended, their price might be just a little bit higher than other shops, but for top tier beef, I would rather spend bit more to get the right quality, as spending 10 dollar less in other store may largely lower your experience.

Top quality meats, seriously. Beautiful display, beautiful marbling.. the best I have ever seen. I think that the owner or general manager was the one I spoke to. He was genuine and provided me with a lot of suggestions. I am new to San Francisco so I am glad to have found a very special place. I will be coming back for for steaks, bones for bone broth, and sausages. Very exciting shop.
