The food was good, but a bit bothered by the lack of changing gloves between different tasks - handling money and then grabbing food. However, customer service was incredibly warm and friendly. Also pleasantly surprised by the prices being in SF.
Welcoming staff, easy ordering process with lots of choice and options to customise menu items. Opted for 2 chicken sandwiches and 2 fries all of which were well presented and tasted great.
I had spicy chicken wings and chicken sandwich couple years ago and I loved them! This time I had visited this part of the city and I just had to go back there to satisfy my craving. So I ordered classic chicken wings (wonder why) and chicken sandwich with loaded fries. Wasn’t the same and definitely not worth the hype in the recent reviews. May be flavor wasn’t right for me. Wings were slightly crispy, fries were alright but the chicken sandwich did not have the great flavor. It was rather very oily.The price was affordable and the staff were friendly but I wouldn’t recommend it as much if you like spicy food.
If you like hot friend chicken (or just fried chicken sammy's in general) you need to try this place out!! We showed up right as they opened for lunch one day, ordered on the seamless touchscreen, and had our fresh, hot food in less than 10min.Ordered the hot fried chicken sandwich and it was incredible; so much flavor and I love how they use dark meat chicken. The sides (tots & curly fries) were delicious as well, tho we ordered ranch and it was prepackaged; was definitely expecting a place like this to make their own ranch in-house. Either way, couldn't recommend enough!!
RAW CHICKEN WITH BLOOD. Ordered the wings and 2 of the 3 had blood coming out, raw AF. Then sent me another and gave a refund. Guess what. RAW. Then a lady came to the counter as I was there, with…. RAW chicken. 1 is fine but to repeatedly send out raw chicken, when all that is on the menu is very poor.
Really decent sandwich. On the larger side but not hard to handle. I ordered the classic fried chicken sandwich and dirty fries. I walked 8 minutes. The food was still a good temperature and not destroyed.
We ate at The Bird on a Friday recently as we were in the mood from some spicy chicken. The sandwich and slaw were excellent. I also ordered the wings and they were pretty good as well. We also ordered a chicken biscuit with tots. The chicken biscuit was very good. The tots were actually not that great. They were cooked well, but tasted pretty bland. The needed salt or something to give them more flavor. The curly fries also tasted fairly bland and needed some sort of seasoning. I'd go again if I was in the area for the sandwich but I'd skip the sides other than the slaw and wouldn't travel out of my way to go.
Ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and curly fries. The sandwich has some kick! Not devastatingly hot but it’s not mild, which I loved. The fries were excellent.
The BEST chicken sandwich I had in US!The chicken was juicy and tender, well-seasoned. I also love the dressing veggies and source. Everything just appeared to be so harmonious.I should try dine-in to appreciate the chicken sandwich better next time.
