Very fresh sushi. Super fast.
Freshly made sushi, quality fish and tasty rolls. Fairly prices and people are very friendly. Great quick lunch spot if your in Japantown
Amazing sushi quality, reminded me to tokyo restaurants, i really recommend this place if you love sushi, we ate a lot and we paid 85 after taxes which is good price for good sushi ....
Quick, very straight forward and self explanatory.
Not a bad sushi place and about on par with other sushi in the city. All the main items and good tasting too. The staff was very friendly
This is one of those sushi places where the quality for the price (around $20-30 per person) is decent. Obviously it doesn't compare to higher end sushi or omakase joints either in SF or other cities, and those are in a different price range anyway. At Tenroku, although they serve o-toro (one of the varieties of fatty tuna) and salmon toro (fatty salmon), it's again not as high quality as more expensive places and the biggest issue is that the cuts are way too big, as in a nigiri barely fits in your mouth. So all around for the price it's a decent place, perhaps one of those you visit once and that's about it depending on what you like and value in this type of food.
The Best place to satisfy your sushi cravings . Been visiting here for over 5 years . The price quality and portion size is exceptional. The wait staff and sushi chefs are always accommodating. Toro, Uni , seared salmon , Unagi and spicy scallop hand rolls and fried shrimp heads are some of my favorites. Tenroku’s by far the best sushi belt place in SF. Enjoy
Pros: salmon was decent. It’s a decent sushi place and you can pick items from conveyer or order directly.Cons: a bit pricey for the quantity and quality you get.
I’ve been coming here forever 5 years and never a bad experience. Super fresh fish. They offer tamari and you can order directly with the chefs to make sure it’s gluten free if you have an allergy.
This place totally surprised me! I had my expectations low because I normally associate conveyor belt sushi with bad quality rolls that are filled with mayo and fried items. The items offered at Tenroku though was fresh, high quality and full of different nigiri options. I would actually come here for quality fish and not just the fun on the conveyor belt. The intimate seating around the chef’s table reminded me of the small sushi joins in Japan and the waitress was great at constantly keeping of green tea cups filled and cleaning off the lids of the dishes that we piled up next to us.
