I don't understand how this place has this many stars. I personally thought that everything we ordered was disgusting. No flavor oily the bread tasted old the coffee was weak I could go on and on.I'm sorry to be so crude about it. Maybe my palate is just spoiled from having a good cook as a husband I cook great and so does my family. I will say if you are in a hurry and not picky and looking for cheap food totally I guess it would be 4 stars I would rather pay a nice amount of money but know I'm getting great food so I guess in this situation you get what you pay for.

This place was amazing. I had the classic two egg breakfast combo . Service was good . The lady who served me was very attentive! I will be coming back for sure .

Fantastic old school diner. Delightful flavorful menu, with items bound to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. Classic diner in a place where such things are a rarity.

I have been dining here when Lou owned it about 40 years ago. That's when there was an all you can eat salad bar.The new owners have kept it the same and have added many new dishes. This restaurant is the best for food quality, variety, friendly service and price.I am 78 years old and will continue to dine at Tennessee Grill. 5 stars!

We come here because of the price and the service. The food is decent. Place is worth going if you are trying to feed a family on a budget. Throwback diner, no frills but great, friendly service.

Recently have moved out of the Bay Area but wanted to check up on this place to make sure they're still cranking it out in the current atmosphere. Started going here back in the mid 90s and fell in love with it. Great food, great coffee, great service, and great prices. It's perfect for those of us who don't need fancy or trendy. It is old school and I hope the Tennessee Grill continues to live on. These places need to be kept alive. Just read about Dottie's closing it's doors. Sad.

Perhaps the worse food I've ever had. I had chicken Parmigiano, and it was so salty I could barely swallow it. Perhaps the reason why the portion size was small is because if it was bigher, you'd have your weeks allowance of salt. It was topped with canned tomato sauce and what resembled a piece of deli cheese. Tasteless is a generous adjective. It was salty, if that counts. Their idea of vegetable was corn, peas and carrots from a frozen bag. It was soggy and COLD. Simply awful. The coffee was brown water, no taste of coffee. The place is big, with dirty floors. The toast was stale and of the cheapest quality possible. I've had better food from a 7 eleven. Simply BAD food, that's only worthy of the garbage can.

Too much $$$ for basic white bread ham sandwiches that you could make at home for a fraction of the price. Had to literally step over a sleeping homeless person just to get inside the establishment.

Service is good. The staff makes us feel welcome. The foodis very good. Feels like home.

Good food, service and prices.
