Wonderful funky little dive with great name. Found it accidentally and intrigued by the Tempest since I named my daughter after Miranda in Shakespeare play of same name. Rowdy happy atmosphere with lots of music, drinking (white Russian was boss). Small menu but food was good and plentiful.

Pretty fun bar, there's a pool table but it gets a bit crowded on weekends. Their fries and burgers are amazing! Drink options are pretty good and the staff are usually pretty friendly, although it took over an hour for us to get fries on a busy night for one visit. The music is very loud which some people like but I found it hard to talk with friends.

Levi and Randy were awesome! They danced and sang with us, and made sure we didn’t wait too long if we needed anything. The place also played great music and supplied some great nuggets…great food. :) Highly recommended! Thank you!!!

This place is still crushing it even after all these years and a changing neighborhood. The box burgers is always my go to but I’m told the rest of the menu is good too.Darn good beer selection too and a better than average whiskey and whisky selection.

I love the food there. It's bar snack food. I wouldn't consider it to be a restaurant. I've bought food here maybe 5 times and was happy with it each time. They prefer you to pay with card. The sign says no cash but they were nice enough to let me pay with cash. Happy customer

Great fried chicken sandwich. 2nd time here and it's consistent with the first time I went 3 years ago. A little busy during lunch but 20min for takeout wasn't awful.

Me and my friend had come here on a Thursday night around 11.00 pm. All bars in the area were crowded because of the Saint Patrick's celebration and this was the only place that offered food so late.We were not required to wear masks or show any vaccination proof. Just needed IDs to enter. The place was pretty crowded. There was also a pool table here. The bar was fully occupied, but we managed to find a table for 2.The bartender was a bit busy in the start but when she was taking our order, she did not rush us and even gave samples for the beers that we wanted to have.We ordered the fried pickles and french fries. The french fries were way better than the pickles. They tasted even better with the spicy mayo sauce.I had the Dry me a river with Jack Daniels which was very decent. The Mango beer here was way better with a tangy taste which I really liked. The beer was decently priced for San Francisco standards.A really good place in downtown for late night drinks, food and playing pool with friends.I would have given 5 stars if the table was cleaner. The table felt sticky from a drink that was spilt on it earlier.

Great food, awesome people, and cold beer. ???

Great food at an affordable price for the working folks in the area. Patrons and ownership are real people. Stop in for some good eats, strong drinks, and real down to earth folks, especially if you live in the area, support local!!
