The Sake Toro here was by far the best sushi we've had... in fact everything we ordered met or exceeded expectations. Even the Sake tasting drink selection was excellent and the full range of Sake drinks was broad and diverse. For a small neighbourhood spot, it is well worth the trip (west of Fillmore / south Pacific Heights area).

Came during happy hour on a Friday evening and boy was I pleased.Service was great; happy hour items were priced ok. Tried the Tataki and it was pretty good, although I might prefer a broiled salmon (shake) or crispy salmon skin alone.Nigiri was good; calamari was only ok. 戻ってきますよ ? .

Go here during happy hour!! Their sushi was amazing! Affordable, fresh and delicious! I forgot to take more pics because it was so good! We also ordered ramen but it was a bit salty. It's best to make a reservation ahead of time. We didn't but the hostess was kind enough to get 2 tables before their next reservation came.Overall a great experience! Highly recommend!

An amazing sustainable sushi restaurant! As locals that lives in pac heights, we have tried 5-7 sushi restaurants in the area… this is the one we’ll keep coming back to!Great atmosphere, reasonably priced, and delicious nigiri + hand rolls. The seared salmon belly is some of the best sushi I’ve had in the city. Take your date, sit at the bar and enjoy!

Tataki is my favorite sushi restaurant. Not only is it sustainable, it's vegetarian-friendly, and its sushi rolls are superb. The stand-outs are the specialty rolls. The flavors are synergistically combined and balanced, ingredients very fresh, and not too much rice... The regular rolls (futomaki, arctic char/avocado) are excellent as well.

Been here twice. I've enjoyed the rolls, nigiri, and tempura. The service was great the first time but very slow the second time. The more recent time we were also seated at the bar despite having made a reservation, which we arrived on time for.

First visit and, cust serv is 5?s my husband & I will go back again. Friendly, nice, clean & delicious happy hour appetizers another 5?s in my book? our bartender was very polite more 5?s?Thank you!

The happy hour was amazingly priced for the quality of sushi and sake we got. Excellent end to a day in the bay!

Extremely small portion size... two pieces of salmon nigiri is about the size of one soy sauce packet, which costs 11 bucks.. Two rolls (each $15) easily fit in a medium size togo box too. I first thought the order got messed up because the bag was super light after I spent $ 70 + tip... needless to say, we had to order another dinner from a different place given these ridiculous serving sizes.

Great Happy Hour. Also terrific ramen selection with GF ramen.
