Tacorea is a very unique spot for some delicious fusion cuisine. The spicy pork was delicious and it worked well in a taco. The burrito was large and the spicy pork rice bowl had really good portions. Also, tater tots with salsa kinda slaps, didn’t expect that combo to be so good. I like the easy going vibe of the restaurant with a mix of indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely recommend making a pit stop here for a quick bite. The staff was very friendly as well, kudos to their creativity.
Came here for takeout. Service was friendly and food was prepared quickly. We ordered a burrito and a quesadilla, both were delicious and good value. Would definitely recommend for a quick bite on the go.
This place is meant for more of a grab and go, but they do have one large table and a couple of small ones inside as well as a small covered dining area outside. Being diabetic can be a problem when I order Mexican so I had to order my Super Burrito with Bulgogi Beef with no rice and in a bowl, they handled that with no problem, she said they frequently make their items as bowls. My husband ordered the California burrito which looked really good. The bottles of soda they have in the cooler include traditional Mexican Jarritos sodas, so that was a treat for hubby too. If you order a bowl and are planning on eating there you will get silverware, if not be sure to ask for some to-go silverware. There is a bottle opener in the dining area outside if you need it as well since they are not a restaurant with a wait staff. If you stop here bring an appetite, everything was good sized and we were definitely full when we left!
Banging fast casual Korean Mexican fusion spot in nob hill. Burritos/Quesadilla with a Korean twist. The California Burrito was massive and can easily be split in half for an afternoon snack. I was able to sub the chips for extra tater tots and add extra veggies. The employee was also super sweet and brought out a plate when they saw I was eating it at a table outside instead of to-go.Highly recommend for a quick bite.
This is a highly rated spot, so we were really looking forward to visiting. Unfortunately the food was mediocre “fusion” with bland and flavorless meats in our burritos, (asada and bulgogi), but it was a nice presentation. The chips were decent, and the salsa was a bit on the sweet side. There were no specialty, or fusion type drinks, only bottled, which seems like a missed opportunity.A bit expensive for what we were served, but it’s “the city” prices, one could argue.Super friendly staff! No reason to come back here again though.
Good value - cheap, quick, tasty food. I’ve never had Korean/Mexican fusion before so this was new to me and it was lovely! I particularly recommend the quesadillas with spicy pork in. Service was very quick and the lady serving us came out to wipe the only outdoor table free down for us and clear the plates away so we could use it. Overall food quality good, quick and convenient. We would go back!
Very poor quality. Have to provide a tip up front (15% minimum) before you get any service. Ordered drinks and had to get them from a refrigerator and open them ourselves. Only service was when had food delivered on plastic plates to our outside, in the cold, table. No cutlery of any type. Food very average and tacos very small.
Great fusion of Mexican & Korean favorites! Kimchee spicy pork burrito was fantastic.
Wow did not expect such a delicious burrito! Save yourselves from spending way too much $ on dinner elsewhere! Fresh, tasty burittos that were a welcome, healthy and affordable option in the heart of San Francisco!
Muy rico y súper recomendado, solo que la lista de espera es larga ya que el lugar es muy pequeño.
