Really enjoyed eating at Tacko. They have quick service and a great menu. The burrito bowls are a complete meal. I loved the general vibe of the place as well. Will definitely be back for more.
We were looking for good Mexican food and we found it! We got the California Burrito and the San Francisco Burrito and the chips and salsa. Great food. Fun environment. And the in house sauces are fantastic. A must try! Everything tasted (and was) fresh and delicious. They also have water "on tap". Will come back for sure next time we are in town!
Got lunch at Tacko and ordered the Carne Asada Mexican “Street Style” Tacos and a margarita. Both tasted great and neither took long to make. Very impressed with the service and the food. Tacko was recommended to me by a friend, and it certainly lived up to his recommendation.
We were in town shortly and tried this place cuz it was a close walk to our hotel. So glad we did! The food was delicious, the environment chill and not too loud, and the way the staff worked as a team when they were so busy, was impressive. Will definitely return!
Stopped for a quick bite and the tacos were delicious and Fulfilling. I had ordered the shrimp and fish tacos both were yummy. The guac and chips were also delicious. To drink we got a margarita pitcher. Staff was nice and friendly restaurant was clean. Definitely will visit again on my next trip to San Francisco.
I made 4 trips from my table to the counter to try to brink my water, chips, salsa and everything else. I get the whole fast casual thing, but as a restaurant professional if I saw someone struggling to bring everything to their table I would at least offer a tray.
Holy Guacomole!! This place is SO good! I got the Nicks Way Chicken Taco and wow best taco I’ve ever had. Also the skinny guacamole was so good! Definitely go check this place out.
Chips and salsa were ok, food was ok, service was great ?. 1-star rating if I was rating the vibes alone. I could literally feel the 1970's seafood place that had been here previously. They gutted the restaurant and tried to make it a Mexican food place without giving it a facelift to match or at least compliment the food. The lack of effort that was put into the conversion of this restaurant establishment is as obvious as it is painful to experience.
Good food with fresh ingredients. We had the Mexican style tacos with an extra fish taco. Chips and salsa with guacamole and a drink each. The food was good. All I can say to make it taste better is to offer salsas. No guacamole salsa or any zesty white sauce for the fish taco. That would have taken this to the next level.
Decent tacos. Sadly, and this isn't the restaurant's, fault, but the whole city requires vaccine proof and masks to be worn which is just all kinds of uncomfortable and unnecessary. But decent atmosphere otherwise. I'd try again if I ever make it back and the city relaxes their chokehold on the businesses and citizens.
