Great food, fantastic service. One of the best places in SF to drink some nice sake and have a fancy meal.

Sushi is very well curated and fairly priced for the amount and it being Omakase in SF. Their beverage selection is great but very overpriced.

Service was 4 stars where staff was very attentive and prompt with service. However, they tried to oversell you by saying 'this salmon is Alaska which is the best in the world, this tuna is from Spain which is one of the best in the world' and on and on. The quality of the fish was B where some were great and a few tasted fishy. The worst dish was this chawanmushi which had uni on top and it was cooked which tasted bad. What a waste of uni. I don't think I will be going back.
This is our second time there - maybe there is an effect of diminishing marginal return. Food was so so, especially the two flats of nigiri sushi. They are all different, but it's hard to taste and distinguish them, which is a huge let down. The pre-seasoning of the fish may be the reason so that we cannot appreciate the original flavor and freshness of the ingredients.
Amazing service, we felt special. The omakase set was delicious and unique with lots of variety. We have been 3 times and will be back for more!
