The curry was very sweet, and my sister compared it to Apple Vermont Curry. The tea is very rich and very high quality!I will say that the menu is much more limited than I expected. I heard/saw pics of such wonderful desserts but they were not available.Make sure to go early! They are not yet taking reservations and the dining area fills out very, very fast.

Everything is great! The katsu sandwiches are exceptional!

Arrived there within their last opening hour on pride so don’t blame them but they were all out of dessert ? they did have an amitsu (match cucumber jelly dessert with fruit) and it was my first time trying but rly good! Will def be back to try the baked goods tho! Also avid matcha drinker and was genuinely impressed by the color of their matcha! No filter:)

If you are looking for authentic Japanese food, this is NOT the place.I don’t quite get why people have to order food in the front for dining in. But maybe it help with preventing Covid, I don’t know and that’s alright. However, greasy floor made me so uncomfortable walking in the restaurant. You will never have that feeling in a real Japanese restaurant. The food. It’s so pricy and not even tasty. The only good thing about this place is that you can have good photo for your Instagram. But the real Japanese food is having awesome experience not just how the food look but also the taste of it. It’s very unfortunate that this place has such good reviews. In my opinion, this place doesn’t worth it if you want authentic Japanese food.

Matcha latte best when hot. Katsu game is really strong. I recommend the pork katsu sando. Pretty pricy but worth it.

Chicken katsu curry was alright, it was a little overcooked/burnt in my opinion. I guess the main highlight here is the matcha drinks. They seemed nice but I didn't order one. Staff seemed quite strict about the dine in time limit, although we overstayed and they didn't complain. Tip: you have outside through the window, and then take a seat inside.

The food was absolutely delicious! First time to Stonemill Matcha and everything tasted great. We arrived on a Sunday ~12pm and waited in line. After 20 minutes we went to the window and asked to dine in. They said everyone in the party had to be there or we had to get back in line (which grew longer than when we arrived). You also have to order and pay before they seat you. We felt rushed because we thought we would put our name down and take a look at the menu before ordering. Instead we ordered on the spot and our friend who was parking had to rush over. After checking your vaccine card and seating you, you have 1 hour to dine in if you order food or 30 minutes if you only order drinks. This makes sense because it helps reduce wait time for anyone outside.I think it would be helpful to have a sign that mentions everyone in your party must be there (you can’t put your name down), you must order before being seated, and the dining time allowed. The food and drinks came out very quickly and the staff were kind. The atmosphere is minimal and aesthetic. I also loved the ceramics they served the food and drinks in.I appreciate that the matcha drinks were not very sweet. I highly recommend the okayu and matcha cream pie. The katsu is quite tender as well. I was worried about he portion sizes there but left feeling very full and hyper due to the matcha. I want to go back and try some other menu items!

The waiting system could be a little bit confusing. You have to order in front of a window, pay, and then be seated after. Match latte is very nice and proper. Japanese teishoku was nice as well. I will add one more star if they can consider to provide chopsticks. I never eat Japanese food with fork in my whole life, feel a little bit shocked when I know the fact that you have to drink your misoshiru with spoon. I’m sorry.

I am a super matcha lover and haven’t been able to have delicious matcha pastry since my move to the States. The matcha pie and matcha latte offered here impressed me. They tasted so good. With the Japanese/Muji-style ambience, we felt relaxed and even healed when dining inside. The shop also cares a lot about customer’s safety and health with the application of strict customer number control. We enjoyed our time there!

Ordered iced matcha latte and it was so good! Not too sweet and matcha was itself was not bitter! Would definitely recommend
