We did not get a quality check after getting our meals. We ordered the steak and it was not cooked to the doneness we asked and our plates lingered empty for a long time after we finished. It was ok but will probably not come back.

We had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant, it was unbelievable. I brought my son and my elderly mother for lunch. We sat down and realized there was food stuck on two of the forks and the knives were sticky and blotchy with food or oil and my plate had some dried reddish food stuck on it. So we asked the waitress for new flatware and plates, she walked away did not say anything to us she just turned and walked away rudely. The busboy came by and took the dirty things and placed down new flatware that was also dirty! He said it went through the dishwasher. We didn’t feel comfortable staying so we got up and left. On the way out we spoke to the host behind the bar and told him what happened, he said “alright”. It was unbelievable no “I’m sorry” or anything! Then he said everything was washed through the dishwasher. I then said “that may be true but the flatware had dried food on it. Would you eat with that?” I couldn’t believe it! The service does not deserve a rating the people working are extremely rude! Will NOT go back.

I hadn't been here for a long time and had forgotten how amazing this restaurant is! Excellent food at fair prices (for SF standards!) and the best service. Will definitely come back soon.
Everything we ordered was delicious (nicely prepared, generously portioned, and beautifully presented) but extra shout out to the bacon arugula pizza with just the right touch of green goddess dressing. Perfect balance of flavors without affecting the consistency of the dish. Highly recommend the very comfortable and relaxing outdoor terrace! Very friendly and well paced service - definitely look forward to visiting again.

pros: great outdoor patio seating, good drinks cons: the food is just not that good. we ordered the starbelly salad which had just three toppings (apple, tomato, goat cheese) and it was completely missing one of them. i probably wouldn’t have ordered if i knew 1/3 of the toppings were unavailable. they gave me extra dressing after i asked which tasted just like plain olive oil to me the other thing we ordered was the burger - we asked for medium rare and it was pretty over cooked (more than well done). it was $16, and $2 extra for cheese, so it felt like it should have been better. they didn’t really check in to ask how the food was until we flagged them down about 45 minutes in so at that point it felt too late to reorder overall i would go back for drinks with friends but not for food! maybe the pizza is better?

Wonderful mixed drinks. Love and appreciate their outdoor seating. Service is very attentive. We just had drinks and some nibbles, all great!
