CHURRO MACARON. 5 stars alone.I got the variety box of macarons, and they were delicious. A few standouts with the churro^ and salted caramel.My god the buttercream filling is good, top-notch for the SF macaron scene. Just say “yes” to having a better life and eat some sweets here.
Gluten free cupcakes! I only had the gluten-free ones. Had to call to see what other ingredients apparently they are milk and egg free so are they vegan too? They did not taste gluten- free so I hope I got the right ones otherwise I’ll be very sick. Very light and fluffy with lots of flavor.They will come smooshed so if you want a perfect cupcake , then getting it to go is not the way. Not anyone’s fault my delivery person was very careful. Two cupcakes were $11 Plus taxes and fees and delivery which are like $25 but they were definitely very worth it assuming they are actually gluten-free.

The cupcakes look amazing and I'm excited to try them.But now for the sad part, my order was incomplete.I ordered a dozen assorted cupcakes (of my choosing) along with two Samoa cupcakes for the 14 of us in office. I only received the box of one dozen and the flavors were switched. They put the two individual Samoas I ordered in the box of one dozen, meaning I am now missing two other cupcakes from my order (Ooh La La).I ordered through their website because I thought it would be less of a hassle than going through DoorDash, but I was mistaken. I also never received an email confirmation or receipt, but did receive a "How did we do?" email. I tried calling the store multiple times to get confirmation of my order and to clarify the time my order was arriving. I was never able to reach anyone.(Note: On their website it said my order would be ready at 12:50pm. Does that mean ready to go out for delivery, or at my door, that's what I wanted to know. If the latter, it did not arrive until 1:14pm)I am hoping this review will be updated and changed for the better since these look like quality cupcakes, just lacking on the communication and execution of proper orders.EDIT:I saw their response on here (Google reviews) yesterday, called their store, was able to talk to someone (yay!) and was issued a refund as well as a receipt emailed to me, all within 24 hours.I appreciate their fast response and their help in refunding me.The cupcakes were delicious and I really enjoyed the flavor guide they provided that included pictures. It made everyone in the office more excited to try out the different cupcakes.Thank you Sift team!
Wifey too me there and I was happily surprised of their strict COVID rules. Great flavors on both of the desserts we had. Definitely coming back to try more desserts and just have a great time. Great vibe btw!
The strawberry shortcake ($63, other flavors $45) was DELICIOUS. I brought it to a bday party and everyone was asking where I got it, the flavor was very unique in the best way possible. The frosting even had glitter in it! It was so cute.They got it ready very fast, I think I ordered it Thursday and was ready noon Monday.
I was excited to get cupcakes for a Bridal Shower on 3/23. This is how the cupcakes arrived to me from Door Dash. Luckily I opened them prior to my event and saw this horror show. The part that was the most disappointing was the lack of accountability from Sift, the Drive, and Dorr Dash. No one wanted to be responsible for this and the staff at Sift gave zero Fu%#'s. I asked if they could send me new cupcakes and she said you have to place a new order and could not guarantee proper timely service. I ended up going to La Luna for excellent customer service. If you need cupcakes or a sweet treat use a bakery that actually wants to deliver true customer service and be proud of their products.I sent an email and nothing. This place does not care about its customers.** Update 4/5/2022- Jordan from Sift bakery reached out to make things right. He apologized for his staff and explained the issues with Door Dash.
Their slab cakes are phenomenal!! We got the milk chocolate one and the vegan Oreo: both are super flavorful and moist. Would definitely recommend. And sorry for the photo, should’ve taken one before cutting them…
The cake (red velvet) was delicious! And the cupcakes are incredibly delicious as well!
Everything is fantastic here. I LOVED the stud muffin cupcake. Though, I guess it's not a staple recipe so call ahead to see if it's in rotation when you visit.Everything else is just as good so even if the bacon cupcake is not there, you will surely love something else.There is a small parking lot just down the street with metered parking for you to park and walk over.
