Sheng Jian Bao is so good, you definitely need to try it! And the dry fried wings, better than all other places I went. I ordered take out, sheng Jian Bao still so good even I reheated it after I got home!
Delicious food but just okay service. Looks like a husband and wife team where the husband is cooking and the wife is waiting tables. Wife is very grumpy and not attentive?
The extremely uncommon, at least on San Francisco dumpling menus, Sheng Jian Bao or pan fried Shanghai dumpling, is a must try. A cross between a soup dumpling and a potsticker, they are have a wonder flavor and great textual contrast between chewy wrapper, crispy wrapper, and a moist pork filling.
Loved the sheng jian bao, very tasty, and quick service. On the scale of great sheng jian bao places, I think they could improve by making them with more soup on the inside, but regardless, tasty dish
Very authentic dishes. Sheng Jian Bao is so good, you definitely need to try it! And wings, better than all other places I went. I ordered take out, sheng Jian Bao still so good even I reheat it after I got home in 20mins. So glad they survived the pandemic. We definitely will be back!
I’m almost unwilling to write a good review of this place out of fear that they’ll get really popular and I won’t be able to get a table anymore. That being said, though, this place is legitimately delicious. Dumplings for days.
Food was trash.Chow mein had no flavor and was clumped together. Spare ribs were full of tiny broken bone pieces that were fried on their own.
My favorite place for pan fried dumplings and chicken wings!
Yummy food as many reviews attest. Cash only.
Simply amazing. XLB’s are incredible, and the honey walnut prawn are out of this world. No frills, just good food.
