Horrible service. I asked for delivery through the restaurant itself and was waiting for around an hour and 30 mins, I called to check where the food was and they said there was an issue with the food (very vague). I asked for a refund and they said that they wanted me to come there and will give the money back in cash, which was very strange. After telling them that I didn’t want to do that and to just revert the money paid via CC, they said they will give me a call back in 10 mins. Finally the manager called me back and refunded the money eventually, but I obviously did not receive my food and had to find another place after an 1.5 hr. Ridiculous, would highly recommend not to go here!
I still believe that Shalimar is the best halal food in San Francisco and probably the best South Asian food in San Francisco. Spicy, heavy, full of flavor, and highly addictive!
This place is an San Francisco institution. Food is incredible, no doubt they know exactly what they’re doing. 10/10 every time.

Wow! Wonderfully delicious. Hits all the right spots. These 1-star reviews are ridiculous and the 3-star reviews are stretching. I had the masala, garlic naan, and the spinach dish. Don't remember the name. All of which were tasty. Slight heat. The naan was super fresh. If you enjoy Indian food, give this place a shot.
Worst place to eat when you have so many other options near by. Gave us old food my entire family got food poisoning we were total of almost 25 people. When we walked in Resturant was empty and thought we can be seated easily, but that was the worst decision on entire trip. Very expensive along with horrible service. Go to this place at your own risk.
Authentic pakistani/indian food. Prices are very low and portion size is reasonable as well.
